Ever notice how mid is riot's favorite child and the rest of roles are filled with cancer aids? Top is invaded with cheesy ranged champs like varus and riot does nothing about it, jg is filled with laner champs that got their numbers tweaked so they can clear the jungle faster than the actual jg champions that you have been mastering for years, support is invaded with champions from all roles and also useless champs like senna to mental boom the adc player from champ select, and adc is now full of cancer aids mages like karthus who have a better winrate than actual adcs. Yeah you might face against a riven or an irelia on mid sometimes, but the lane is very short so is not nightmarish like having a bad match up on the top lane, and the funniest part is that this is not hard to fix at all, you could just give ranged champs on top and mages on bot a debuff for going that lane, maybe give toplaners a movement speed buff towards their tower in the first 10 minutes of the game, reducing the power of junglers in the process, and when it comes to laners being able to jg just get rid of them, the fact that jayce, zed, teemo and quinn are able to jungle shows you how the balance team doesn't play the game at all, because in what world someone who actually plays the game would think that going against those champion on the jungle would be a fun or engaging experience
