After reviewing the evidence, I have to conclude that energyfag (as much of an annoying shit he is) is at least correct that at the time of Sonic Rush Adventure's creation, Marine's power probably wasn't particularly water-based. In fact, no source outright confirms this: it's usually either a suggestion (Encyclo-speed-ia) or an throwaway external powerup (Speed Battle). Having said that, I'd be shocked if it wasn't officializes, since clues to the contrary are scarce.Sonething to look forward to in Rumble I guess.
