Oblivion is a "good" game, but it has all the stylings of a bad one. Who the frick thought it was a good idea to make every enemy spongey at higher levels and complete pushovers at lower ones? ESMifying large quest mods, land mods, and city overhauls will let me shrink the persistent references in my mod list significantly. But I've never done this before, so I'm not sure which mods are safe to ESMify. I don't want to ESMify a quest mod, like say Merida's Order (4,000 persistent references), and then find out 50 hours later in my save that I broke the quest.

I've had SMP show up in my crashlog when:- An NPC inventory related crash happened with SkyPatcher and SPID (disalbing containers in the SkyPatcher ini fixed that)- Spwaning a temporary actor via placeatme lead to a crash when reloading a save where this NPC wasn't present. Not spawning actors that start with FF fixed that, it's probably a mod like NPC Spell Variance that doesn't expect a copy of an already copied actor and can't handle the deleted flag.- Some other stuff I forgot
