It's funny how I look forward to XB2 and XB3 for different reasons in terms of the performance boost. I think XB2 will gain the most with higher resolution, so that's what I'm looking forward there.But in terms of XB3, it's the framerate boost since I think the game already looked good enough as it is.

Like if you play 2 or 3 and go back to 1 you feel like every environment is at least 2x the size it should be for reasonable navigation. Sure you wont move as fast in 2 or 3 but you'll still get to your destination in plenty of time due to the overall smaller / denser environments.Genesis seems to have a notably large world as well and also has mounts, so it just comes down to map size vs character speed moreso than just one factor.

i do wonder if the textures might just be unfinished. you can see normal maps in place for details on blueyabi's sleeves that aren't reflected in the diffuse map, in addition to the much higher detail trim texture on a part of her outfit that appears to be a different materiel. a lot of the character outfits they've shown have something like that, Eleanor's outfit also has trim details that are much higher detail but are another different materiel.

And when people say its because he's just a worse mumkhar, they're even more correct than they may initially realise. This design in pic related is LITERALLY D and J. Two characters. And in that same vein the reason he's mumkhar but worse is because they took what made up mumkhar and split it across into two characters... which of course just results in two shallower characters.All the associated character visuals (claws) of mumkhar as well as his aggro and charisma/dialogue got funnelled into D, while the aspect of being a character related to the parties past who has betrayed them due to inferiorty issues got transferred to J.
