The prosthetics originally created were made through old tech and not from some unique magic esque resource. The hacking is through implants but is still technological and shit and nothing really focusing on magic allowing that. Even the "black wall" shit is just an Old AU infecting the old internet and doing weird virus shit to the new tech. It all has an explanation to science and technology.The city and shit does have some aspects like the prosthetics and fixer weapons but alot of the shit like the abnormalities, or a wings main gimmick effecting both time and space in an unnatural matter through dimensional manipulation shit is almost magical in nature. Distortions sure maybe are close to a cyber physcho but those cyber physcos usually go crazy from their brain being unable to handle all the prosthetics and they become a rabid animal meanwhile distortions manipulate reality itself to give you an unnatural power like all the shit Moses deals with In DD or even the shit from the current event. Theres also the shit with the light and shin/mang that has no explanation otber then magic shit. There's allusions to each other but it's not the same
