I checked out statlockers one trick leaderboard and it seems fatally flawed, you can only be included if +50% of your games are on one hero, but because you can’t reliably choose one hero it cuts a lot of people. Gets even worse at eternus when you have to prioritize 2 hero’s by default

Here’s a discussion piece: risk aversion and play style. For me, I have always played incredibly safe and only play to punish. Fighting games, mobas. Usually playing to learn the enemy and then punish misplays. I’m usually around diamond or masters in comp games that I do play. But, this comes at a draw back because I don’t “limit test” or play hyper aggressive ever. It takes much much longer for me to reach my skill limit. My number one rule in mobas is “don’t feed”. Now this works in high elo games because you’re one less problem for your team especially if you’re not passive. But the inverse is that you have much less carry potential. I’ve noticed this in deadlock. When I was in ascendant games were chill. I could go 5/2/25 and just chill and had like a 65% wr because there was usually someone else to play off of. Now I come back and I’m stuck in archon. And I realized it’s because I myself don’t make plays. And the skill difference is immense here. What about your play style? How does that affect your games? Have you done any type of self evaluation to understand your own weaknesses? Discuss.
