I think we've been approaching roots/tree Ralsei theories the wrong way.What if there's multiple Ralsei's? One in each Dark World and they're all connected to a hivemind? THIS is what makes Ralsei ultra powerful because his presence spreads across hometown. There's straight up multiples of hims so if one copy got killed he'd just be replaced.In a meta sense, he's the entire skeleton of the game. He organized the whole adventure and planned out what would happen beat-for-beat within the Dark World. The Ralseis jobs are to make sure the Lightners are guided through the prophecy and forcibly course correct back to the prophecy when they go off rails(unless they no longer want to I guess)I think this is why Ralsei going off-script is potentially dangerous, he is EVERYWHERE and deciding to do something for himself means putting all of Hometown at risk.they/them ralseis confirmed but it's literal

It's entirely possible all the pink/yellow color motifs in the game so far are a diegetic form of protection to ward against the cats, rather than a way of signaling allegiance to FRIEND. Maybe the cats can't see in pink and yellow? All the secret bosses sans Jevil and the mantle that summons them have Pink/Yellow somewhere on their design
