Every time I think I am gonna drop the game because I've exhausted all the content I end up playing a new character and getting hooked back in.Rosetta is surprisingly fun, but pretty brutal if I am against a super mobile enemy (just did quick quests against Id and Behemoth). Still working on gearing her for infinity so I can really see how she performs and fully test out the mastery traits, though as of now, constantly blowing up the roses seems like the best one.

The new slime quest is way different, with a bigger room and a focus on killing the celestial slime that spawn in the middle so even if you hit a gearing level where she can kill the slimes with basic attacks I dont think this strategy would work

Technically you can play vas with a 1hp build and no pain permanently up, but realistically the boss will move out of 50% of your finishers leaving you with a lot of downtime on the ability.
