hello yes this is my original roaring knight theory. basically the knight is the soul, which is both an object that exists in the world and a metaphysical object that is conditionally able to disregard the boundaries of reality. and because the knight was created by something that is neither a lightner nor darkner, it is able to do things that a darkner wouldn't normally be able to do. namely creating fountains and ignoring the fake and gay shit like flowery's fake stats. as a quick aside, i think i'd be the perfect candidate to fuck the dyke out of noelle and dust the cobwebs out of her angry dyke-coded mother's snatch because my penis is not too big and wouldn't run the risk of leaving a fear of men in either of them. anyway, the knight is also compelled to command kris to achieve its ends in the same way that the soul does since it was created from the soul, which is why it assumes a form similar to that of kris and the soul. it doesn't know the type of freedom that the soul possibly could, so it emulates the soul in a futile attempt to break out of its cage the same way we've seen other darkners repeatedly attempt to do throughout the story. which is why it goes so far as to command kris by means of force, it is a learned behavior from the soul. also i think that the entire december family (yes even any men in their extended family) should be my breeding mares. anyway that's my original roaring knight theory.

Sure, Susie loves the dark worlds and all, but most dark worlds get "killed off" anyway. Having just the main dark world get sealed off will be sad, but not sufficiently tragic enough to justify the serious dread that Ralsei has about it. I think it's more likely that Susie, or perhaps Susie AND Kris are going to be sacrificed in some manner. Something like the Roaring is likely going to require a massive amount of light to counteract it, and what better source of light than the two main lighters of legend? It would at least partially explain Susie's comment that Ralsei definitely wouldn't let that happen considering how much Ralsei cares for Kris and Susie.

An ending that simply has darkners dying is not enough because darkers are technically not real in the first place. Sure, they have emotional significance for Susie, but we constantly destroy the homes of darkners without much thought every time a fountain is sealed, and any darkner you fail to recruit is essentially killed off when you seal a fountain. That's just not enough. There's needs to be some terrible fate on the lightners side for there to be enough narrative weight.

I’ll never understand suselle boring arguments like I think Susie and Noelle contrast each other in the best ways and I think with a lot of their insecurities they seemingly reassure each other that they’re okay. that they aren’t what their minds tell them. Things don’t have to be one way for either of them, them being together is like breaking out of a shell if you know what i mean.
