Might not look like much if you've never explored all the options but this a pretty good NPC interaction. Let me tell you why.The barkeeper wants you to pay for what you and Dude had the other day. There are five options: lie, pay, do the dishes, refuse to pay, and attack.Lying is a Persuasion skill check. If you pass you're good, if you fail you'll have to resort to the other options BUT he will take offense to that and ban you from the bar.Paying is just that. Could use a Mercantile check here to lower the price, honestly.Doing the dishes for him covers the debt but you end up with Sore Hands which is a -3 DEX debuff that lasts 12 minutes. If you tried lying and failed he will ban you from the bar.Refusing to pay is the most interesting option. Because you're from SGS arresting you would jeopardize the relationship between the stations, so instead the barkeeper lets everyone in Rail Crossing know what you've done and people not only shame you for it but also refuse to deal with you until you sort it out. If you do decide to resolve it after that he'll, of course, ban you from the bar.Attacking will make the entire station hostile, obviously.Pretty good for such a simple, seemingly innocuous, interaction.
