Forsaken Kingdom is very delightful. I think what really struck me even tho the characters don’t bring it up and I wish someone did was that there’s 2 ways to look at the phrase “Death is not the end”. For the Scourge and bastards like Kel’thuzad, Rivendare and Arthas, indeed death is just a means to gain power, a quaint afterthought for beings so beyond the humanity they readily discard or treat like currency. Meaningless. But for the heroes, what it means isn’t anything to do in them being reanimated corpses but that, even with guys like Uther and Landen long gone and dead, their actions, words and hopes lived on in Garek even when he couldn’t “remember” them clearly and hopefully (ignoring WoW lore) those same things could keep living on after Garek within the forsaken.
