Does Epoch Reborn do anything funky or fun with the classes? Saw some minor changes listed on the site, but what's the big stuff? Did they fix Paladins? Is Melee Survival a thing? Shaman tanks? New races?Why are people hyped for this?

It feels familiar enough and different with quests and systems fitting like a glove. Sometimes you could start to question if something was always there back in vanilla or was it added in Epoch. There weren't many things that stood out as backported or not vanilla. At the same time they ditched the most annoying thing of vanilla which was the class balance. They're sitting somewhere between TBC (mostly) and WotLK (partially), so they are viable but aren't yet homogenised.Besides, there's much content we don't know of yet, so people are very curious what we gonna see.

Ret gets Crusader Strike and a new melee ability which allows them to use Judgement without losing their current seal. Prot gets an instant Avenger's Shield. You can tank dungeons as a Shaman but they don't have the mitigation or threat tools for raids. >New races?No, but there are many new race/class combos. >Why are people hyped for this?It's an extremely soulfully handcrafted Classic+ with lots of new (class) quests, way harder dungeons and lots of new nooks and crannies to explore. By sticking mostly to TBC talents they won't fuck up the balance too much like Forever WoW already did. No cash shop helps too.

I remember getting a blue cloak at ironforge airfield and then there was a rollback and I lost it. Never saw that one quest about fixing the plane working so couldn't get achievement for completing the airfield. Wonder if it's fixed for this release. Also unsure what to roll. Maybe gnome priest.
