I refunded wow forever. I will be on our Vanilla Era server and our TBC server and waiting for TBC and Wrath Era servers. There are many reasons why I won’t be playing Wow Forever as someone who loves the first 3 versions of World of Warcraft, from the started homogenization, to the “fun do it all private server feeling weapons”, ones that do damage, slow with frost, poison, and heal you at the same time, Skyborne and their druid forms, the circus feel of the new massive ogre’s/deviate delight, to the artwork of the new weapons/items, and gear/upcoming gear models. The new shop mounts/pets the looming content that is to collect items for transmog, the Legacy system where once you have a couple of characters past 25 with professions every alt afterwards will be able to mow through mobs without having to stop to eat or drink with the talents healing you as well as making you stronger giving you more points to put in your talents past what you normally would be able to. The pvp feel of the game when targeting and fighting other players, the retail ungrounded feeling of attacking mobs and pvping in the world. I could go on and on about how Forever feels like it is not for the Classic player base. This is just the beginning and this was supposed to be Classic Plus. I am just grateful for our Vanilla Era servers and will be waiting for TBC and Wrath Era servers, and I hope everyone enjoys the version they feel the best on for themselves, and personally I believe after 1 or 2 months people will start realizing we’ve have the best versions of the game the entire time and TBC and Vanilla will thrive even more than ever and even regret not playing TBC as much and will be waiting for TBC and Wrath Era servers even more.
