For most of the game the bullet hitbox is pretty wide to make gunplay feel right, but specifically because of the Triumphant moving away from you (which makes the reticle inaccurate) and missed bullets deflecting off the non-hitbox hull it feels invincible. That shit threw me for a loop as well, watching my bullets knock out targets on some runs and do nothing on others, until I figured out I got better hit registration if I shot it from steeper angles and stayed as far above the eater as feasible.

Having replayed 04 on Hard, Expert and Ace I have to say this is the most overrated game in the series. I'd thought of this before firing it up but now I know I wasn't wrong. It's 18 missions short, a good ~1/3 of them or so are sort of bombing runs (Missions: 5, 6, 9, 10, 16) which are boring slogs to get through. Technically 15 and 17 also follow the "score x points within y minutes" but these don't feel as egregious as the ones mentioned above. I would've added 15 to the shitpile if it wasn't for the music and the vibe.Some other missions are just VERY short (Missions: 4, 11, 14). Some are both (Mission 13)The final one is also what-the-fuck-ever unless you like to jerk it to muh latin choir or something.Speaking of the OST, I know it's a personal preference but it sucks. A handful of good tracks here and there but not as good as later entries overall. Favorite tracks played on: Deep Strike, Breaking Arrows, Emancipation. The flight model doesn't feel good at all to come back to. The amount of times I'd be sitting on some plane's tail, barely going 300kph, practically stalling just to see it supposedly going at the same speed but with all the maneuverability in tact while moving UPWARDS. Reminded me of 3 and I always hated that about it. It's closer to PW than later AC entries but even PW allows you to change your AoA faster, making it feel somewhat "heavier" without it being frustrating at times. Yawing felt like it wasn't doing much.Also, why the fuck does x-02 have BDSPs? It should've had UGBLs or FAEBs. BDSPs suck.QAAMs are OP as fuck. I don't think they are as good in any other AC game. Enemies are seemingly unable to evade them. Even Yellows in a lot of cases.

The certified migger build for warfare is definitely QAAM/LAAM. LAAM are good for rebound killd when you get splashed, you respawn far away, hold the air brakes, and slowly dump LAAMs onto the faggot that splashed your gay ass. QAAMs are QAAMs, can't be beat, except maybe by SASMs.

If Silacrum decided to be extra slippery it was easy to miss the landships and get nailed by a railgun burst. The Shadows could be annoying if the Gripens (cute) decided not to die and sometimes I'd get nailed by one of the faster missiles getting fired at me while behind one.But after the Shadows I finally felt I had the opening to rearm, and the last section was cake.Feeling a bit proud and relieved now that it's done. On literally everything.For whatever reason in singleplayer this part gives +0.15 to your accel stat while in multiplayer it gives you +15%.Since most aircraft have accel around ~3 that's +0.45 to your accel stat.And keep in mind most parts are much worse in MP than they are in SP. For example the top speed part gives +150kph in SP but +30(lvl 1) or +40(lvl 2) in MP.
