This creates a meta where either you are part of the problem, or you play a hero who can viable build gun and you get pidgeonholed into gun because that build path lets you abuse the dominant meta (a good example of this is Shiv, who has a perfectly viable spirit build but who ends up building gun so he can abuse that no one builds gun resistance).
