Even with just the mannequin and no animations it does feel a bit more like actual combat than before. You'll have to use your imagination though, the blue mist does freeze them but I didn't add an effect yet. Moving the camera felt nice enough, so I can still retain the open world feel. Boss fights would be easier to make too. But I don't know where npc allies could fit into this. Before obviously you controlled all of them. Now even if they followed the player, they aren't gonna be able to keep up with a player zoom zooming and feel competent.
