I know 1.0 is about the new stuff which I am excited for, I hope that in the coming months and leagues they'll be looking back at old weapons and giving them new skills. Maces, chaos spells, quarterstaves, bleed spears, and even the druid forms all feel like they need more skills. Currently due to how PoE2 operates without cross-weapon skills, if you're going a mace build that involves strikes, you have very limited options. Quarterstaves are lacking an early game skill that feels fun and impactful and the physical set of skills need more love. Chaos spells are limited to like 3 options right now.Basically, after we all get over the excitement of Swords (and daggers hopefully!) they'll have time to go back and flesh out these weapons a bit more. In PoE1 it is kind of irrelevant as there are so many cross-weapon skills, but in PoE2 it is not the case. If you actually break down each weapon into the weapon + archetype then so many of them have a pretty small amount of viable skills. Or, some of the weapons are really lacking in stuff that feels good to play early on before you have multiple combo skills + supports for them.

Currently the mid tier items are considered not very good to not playable. Everyone is aiming for the items made by fracturing spamming Exceptional items and chaos spamming a secondary modifier.This drove up expectations towards what good items are and conclusions that most tier 3 or below mods are worthless. It also made the game incredibly more easy as damage in the 10Xmillions made survivability stats less important, especially with the abuse of the bug on jewels (5 mods and blocking chaos from hitting both suffix and prefix) and easily available jewel slots.Another side effect is that high end players often don't even bother picking up items and identifying them, meanwhile low end players and casual players don't bother because the items are never going to drop close to good.I'm suggesting to remove Fracturing orbs and make Chaos Orbs account bound. Currently the market is supplying everyone with chaos orbs that comes from bots, not players.This way there will still be a few godly items in the game and crafting will still matter but now the variety of items that are considered good will be much broader and people will actually have a need of many of the other crafting currency like essences and greater orbs. Players would also have to consider which mods are more important and pitch those high while others lower.Another point is to remove everything "item rarity". Item rarity is so overpowered that it completely overshadows any other mod and there is a huge player base who won't even play a build or class if item rarity can not be pushed on said build. It needs to go on personal builds and on bot builds as well. The so called rarity bots are pushing holes in the intended gameplay and create imbalance in the game economy the same way the temple farm and the whisp strategies are doing it.Thanks for listening.

In order to get that viewership they're telling people, mainly casuals and people only mildly aware of PoE, "Hey, there is a whole new class to watch!"There is ZERO incentive to save anything particularly mindblowing for the stream. It is literally the opposite of what you want to do. Teasing what you'll get to see is a much more effective strategy. Now, if they just posted the whole shadow presentation that would harm Exilecon, but that is not what they're doing. They're teasing it. I imagine that they will also tease the league mechanic and even the acts just to try to get as many people as possible to tune in so they can go "Look China, we had 1 bajillion viewers!"
