Will you guys be playing the successor to Runescape?
It’s certainly got a unique style to it and I’m going to give it a try but I can’t see if going far if they don’t try and catch up with all the content RS3 and OSRS has in it currently, it’s the Gowers though so there’s bound to be some really nice gameplay in there somewhere
really not a fan so far.I'll probably still try it, but i hate the claustrophobic board game aesthetic more than anything.
>>1382327why do people want more of this genre? were surely not the same species its just blatant waste your time slurry for domesticated animals
>>1387111from what I have seen, I get a sense they are washed up and their creative era is over. besides 07 Runescape was actually total ass, people just didn't know it yet. For instance, it took some time for the first 99 smithing to hit, but later down the road it became apparent just how trash the skill really was. making lvl 40 armor at lvl 99 smithing.... yeah, enough said i think. it took forever to see change to it. in rs3 Priff had to be created first and in OSRS IDR a date, but it felt like it wasn't that long ago they did a change of some sort (i dont play it much).I think Runescape did shine b/c of the nuanced gameplay details. like I think they just played their own game (extremely rare today!) and made solutions to their problems, which brought about content that made sense. An example of this would be battlestaves for gp, or miscellania as a gp dump that gave better value in recourses. as good as the smaller details were, i always felt like they needed twice as many of those smaller details that glued the game together. and again, a change of some type to a lot of the skills would have been nice as well
No. RuneScape is total shit for retards and this doesn't look any better.
Yes I will be giving it a goI've literally never given a shit about the graphics nor the tile system it has going on, people who complain about stuff like that are either women or faggotsStory, lore, and rpg chads rise up
>>1388624Because it's fun.
I'm not reassured by the lack of info. We're getting a decent ways into Q3 and there's not that many details, let alone a release date.

I am really excited for this game. i have been playing runescape since like 2006 and honestly i am pretty sick of it by this point, but i really can't find anything that scratches the same itch.

My only gripe with it is the tile look. Really not a fan. I also feel the style for the models and overall look of the game could be better.
>>1382327classes are uninteresting and way overdonethey could have at least went with some cool ones but the whole reason Runescape succeeded is that it was NOT trying to be like every other game on the market
>>1420934Yeah, I don't mind the sub area design, since I like that they're kinda like dioramas linked together, and I find that cute, but the individual squares of the grids kinda kills that

>>1388624because whats more retarded?: shitting away your time on games, or being discomforted on a regular basis forcing you to consoom another video game purchase, only to tire quickly and repeat. theres a sense of pleasance of just being in a game, absorbing what YOU find interesting within the moment of your day. not being forced to hold a controller every second, not being forced into some input archetype (ie holding a gun, holding a steering wheel)it's just a more coherent experience, you're more likely to remember playing runescape compared to almost any other game, even if you no longer play. it's frankly one of the most liberating types of games, despite attracting a ton of conservatives, or conservation enjoyers lol
>>1450918this is what political YouTube videos do to your brain
>>1451303most of that is a response to "need big" because any large vg map typically begins to start putting roads in as apart of the mapbut im not lying about 55' offsets and offsetting in general, that shit is degeneracy maximum, just like ur faggy yt obsession

>>1382327I didn't vote. I don’t believe in democracy. I believe in Thule, the ancient city, and I believe that Andrew is going to raise Thule, and Atlantis. I believe in global cooling, the sea levels lowering, and I believe in land rising from the bottom of the ocean with ancient ruins on it, like the ruins of Thule. I believe Andrew Gower will accomplish all of this. He’s going to prove that UFOs exist; the government has known about it for a long time. They know that UFO’s are out there and are trying to communicate with us, and that they have secrets about the origins of human consciousness. Are you familiar with the philosopher Friedrich Schelling? Have you read the Critical Historical Introduction to the Philosophy of Mythology? Schelling is a German Idealist philosopher, he was roommates with Hölderlin, and Hegel, and he talks about all of this, he predicted it a long time ago. Andrew is going to make German idealism real, He’s going to complete the system. Immanuel Kant could not complete the system of German idealism; Andrew is going to complete the system - He is going to derive the complete system of German idealism. Hegel couldn’t do it, Schelling couldn’t do it, Fichte couldn’t do it, Reinhold couldn’t do it, Maimon couldn't do it, no one could complete the system of German idealism. Andrew is a Kantian; It needs to be clear to everyone here, Andrew is a Kantian

This is terrible for socializing. Why even make it a MMORPG? You can only talk to people in the same map as you but there is so much running around that you'll miss any responses unless you just stand there waiting.I thought I was going to get to make some new gaming friends from this to actually sit in VC and have someone to talk to while we both grind but at least 100+ people must have seen me spamming my messages and they all wanted to play solo.
>>1493908doesn't help that chat is disabled by default

>>1493815yeah I logged in and got like 14k xp and did gain a level but I was hoping for at least 2 levels. I get passive skilling is supposed to be less efficient to offset it being automatic but man.
>>1493966I'm not even sure if it's UK laws rather than him being overly prim. The brighter shores TOS literally has a 'no swearing' bullet point in it and the OG runescape word filter blocked out words like 'damn'
so what's the point in grinding when you have to do it all over again in a new zone? do i do the bare minimum to progress as fast as possible to a new zone, i just don't get it. whats the point of getting lvl 60 cooking and combat in the beginner zone when im lvl 1 in the next zone
>>1494019Apparently there's some carryover.
>>1494019According to some madmen who actually grinded enough to get to the third episode/region the game actually starts coming together and feeling like a proper RS game. Skills there actually need mats from prior zones. They just gotta bring that shit into the first two zones.
>>1494031What a baffling decision to not introduce this earlier then. He's stated that he didn't want players to feel overwhelmed at first which is why I assume you're dripfed four skills at a time, but instead I can't help but feel it's gonna end up having the opposite effect where people are underwhelmed and disappointed instead
>>1494019>whats the point of getting [...] combat in the beginner zone when im lvl 1 in the next zoneThere's no difference between not being able to beat a weak enemy in a new zone and not being able to beat a strong enemy in an old zone. The core gameplay of "click the interact button and wait" is the same either way. You pass the stat check or you don't.
>>1494231What is the gain from increasing guard/scout level more than what is needed to advance to the next episode?
>50 alch and 61 cooking to do this 2 star quest Jesus, that's probably like a day or two of grinding right?
>>1494231Yeah, in a solo game, retardnigger.
>>1399177Subtly pozzed. Woman leader at the starter quest, and another woman leader (this time also an afro nigger) towards the end of the quest. Blacks look to be 13% but in a medieval/whatever setting.... fucking stupid. At least it has 2 genders in character creator, though there's no "male" or "female", just 2 halfs of a little person figure to click, so it's like a half way between "male/female" and "type A/B" wokie slop.No idea what it's like past ep1.
>>1494234>What is the gain from increasing guard/scout level more than what is needed to advance to the next episode?higher guard level unlocks higher level monsters (wow this brown lion turns into a green lion yay)a level 10 enemy can only drop gear at level 10 or lowera level 33 enemy can only drop gear at level 33 or lowerrarity adds invisible levels to the gear, it seems to be +10 levels per tier (uncommon, rare, epic) so level 10 epic gear is like level 40 in power, no jokeits like fucking borderlands where your gear is going to be useless as soon as you unlock an enemy that is higher than the highest one you can fightat least gear rarity means you might be able to hold onto shit longer thoughalso enjoy having to level your "combat gear level" each time you enter a new episodeimagine levelling to 500 combat like 10+ timestheres no difference between guard, scout, minefighter, watchperson, militia, etc etcgarbage system they better fucking change it
>>1494234>>1494452I was looking at my stats from lv18-21ish and they do go up. I didn't look at HP but I assume that does. But I was also getting a .38% increase in across the entire "deflect" category. Shoulda tested differences taking off all gear and fighting with full gear.Still have no idea how fucking weapons work. My best one is still a yellow lv2 pike (pretty sure pikes are OP, all the power of a 2h halberd but hit twice as fast as anything else). Seems to be on par with my lv8 purple halberd which has 20 more attack power on it, but is still better because faster attacks for less damage is more consistent, especially how fucking inconsistent the damage numbers are (pisses me off so much).
I finally got a piece of chest armour so I don't look like some random guy casually strolling through the town, but does armour actually have any impactful stats? It's kind of hard to figure out what matters and what doesn't in combat
>>1494456If you inspect armor it has various defense values assigned to each damage type that affect how much deflect (defense) you have against those attacks. Biggerer number equals betterer but also once you lock in a class I think your class specific gear drops start to have more focused weights. My hammermage shield has a lower overall defensive rating against nature damage compared to cryo damage for example.

>>1495119Back in the day Andrew said he was surprised by how much people grinded in RSC and that he initially hadn't expected people to even go beyond level 70 or something like that, so he presumably made some overwhelmingly massive thousands hour grind just to provide something to do for the scarce few autists who not only are willing to click on the same tree for a thousand hours, but also are willing to drop the existing game where they already do this. Of course people were expecting some level of grind, but BS currently unironically lacks a proper carrot dangling in front of you in order to encourage you to grind in the first placeHe probably thinks it makes sense for the grind to be longer when you have access to overnight skilling, but so far the only effect it's had on me was making me change my approach to the game. I can only AFK one skill at a time so I'm going to play this like an idle game where I spend 2 minutes every morning refilling/setting up the next ~24 hour AFK activity just for the sake of getting slightly more XP or money in the event that the game eventually gets unfucked, something I frankly doubt is going to happen
>>1495274a public scoreboard is all you need for autists to spend 10 thousand+ hours picking the same mushroom.
Holy shit I just got like 8 levels off of completing the Episode 2 main quest, took me right to 21 scout.
What's the efficient way to get to 32 carpentry? Right now seems best to just farm the lv0 ashwood whatever right by the NPCs to not waste time walking. Then level 10-18 do the junipers that aren't that far. Then do the lv18 also one zone away from the NPCs. Idk after that haven't seen trees after (guessing they're going to reskin after that so can't see it yet LOL fcking stupid ass system)Can I sell the planks to the carpenter NPC? Any reason to save them? Being able to save myself a trip to the plank cart nigger would be amazing for this gigagrind.
>>1495119tried posting this on LEDDIT to maybe get some traction and get Andrew to buff xp rates or reduce the grind by a small bit in the earlier levels and got downvoted to shit. do they want their game to die? do you want to grind 8+ hours to get a banking QOL? (8 hours if you're dumping all of your money into logs for lvl 32 carpentry) I don't understand how they don't see 20+ bracket being incredibly slow, dog shit, and not fun to grind. allegedly it "gets better" at level 50, then maybe we should buff rates 20-50?? HELLO?? stupid fucking retards.
>>1495286Planks only come into play when you unlock shield crafting which isn't until episode 3 so if you don't care about regrinding for planks or are f2p just sell them.
>>1495291huh isn't shield crafting needed for the bank quest? you mean I can't do it until ch3? fuck
>>1495292I think that might be the sole exception but I haven't actually completed the quest myself so I can't say. It might just be a special quest exclusive action.
>>1495292unsure about crafting shields outside of the quest, but for the quest, you make the shields in the carpentry workshop
So an anon post that exp chart somewhere, and the exp rate looks to simply be the same exact exp rate as 1-20 except just straight multiplied by like 5 or 6, anyone know more?
i almost went to bed without starting a passive activity that is going to be a hard habit to get into
Lv20 Carpenter Chopsticks (1 knowledge pt)100set (4s200c) + 100jars (2s) = 6s200c1 chopstick = 9xp & 17c & 20s100 chopstick = 1s700c & 900xp @ 2000s(33min33s)----------------4s500c & 33.33min for 900xpNot worth it unless you leveled lumberjacking off with carpentry and also do the lv20 lumberjackoff passive for free hickory, making the cost only in the 100jars (2s) for a total net less of 300c per 100set.
>>1495289I'm kind of torn on how to feel about the game in its present state, because even if I would like to see it flourish and become something better after the first batch of updates, there are so many things in the game's underlying systems and the thoughts behind them that should set off every possible alarmAndrew & Company most certainly know how to create a game, but it's rather evident that they have no clue how to design one
>>1495326Well except you need a lopoff tool which is like 40 or 70s I forget l00l (tho I figure you want all tools eventually anyways)
>>1494465The gear in this game is so shit and boring.
>>1495326Nvm I got 1800 exp total after doing one full set. Guess each iteration is 0.005 but game just rounds it to 0.01, not bad actually and worth it since you can't burn through your silver because of how slow it is and getting 32 carp 32 hunter is utterly gamechanging after you finish that quest
>>1495346Oh and you get 3s 400c not 1s 700c for crafted+sold hickory chopsticks set.
>>1495326dunno about other anons but i did like 1000 ash trees and turned those into planks, swapping to rough when i got thereonce i got to 27 wc i swapped to rough pine and by that point i only needed like 500 logs to get to 32about a day of hard graft, not too bad for the utility you getgot a shitload of silver too, almost a gold actuallyits one of those set up things, its an investment for lateri don't give a shit about maximum efficiency or "xp waste"
>>1495356Pretty sure that's going to be maximum or close to it anyways because you're grinding right at the banks/carpenter and don't need any tools besides the first
>>1495350Nvm again im being retarded, baskets to afk get hickory are 2s per set. Also the tool to tree lop hickory is like 60s. Kinda meh trade off. Still good to level up crafts to 20 and have the tool so not a loss there, but I think I might just buy hickory sets instead of using up afk hours to save 1s400c.
>>1495374not bad, well i got 32 now so i'm fucking freefree to...grind some moreironically only did this because traversing the world was so fucking gay but now we have minimap click movement its not so badoh fucking well
>>1495392wait we do ? fuck I didn't try it recently holy fuck can we cross the entire map in one click now? I had no clue holy shit
>>1495394>can we cross the entire map in one click now?Only one room
>>1495395What the fucking hell this is some bait and pull shit, literally pointless I can already click from the end of one room to another without the map. Oyvey
>>1495394only up to the next screen sadly but someone said this was because of performance reasonsonce they figure out how to make pathfinding less intensive on server calcs or whatever we'll all be able to zoom across the entire map...probably
>>1495396yeah but it can be priceless when you're in two big rooms and you want to run from one thing to the other like pic related
>>1495399>>1495397I take it back it still makes traversing long distances easier that I can see on my map, which is pretty seamless when I zoom out max.
this made me realize the only reason i got into runescape was the awesome medieval early-2000s soul grand open world that made me want to explore that no game ever has matched. in brighter shores, it seems like the world is only created for the game mechanics to exist, while in runescape the game mechanics are added on top of the world. they've evaporated away all the soul and only set pieces where you grind remain. the original 2001 world of runescape had 1000x more soul than this game
>>1495625I firmly agree. If anything it even made me appreciate the original RS even more even though I don't play either version of the game any more. I was browsing the steam forums where I saw some guy proudly proclaiming how the game gave him the same vibes as 2004 RS and I just don't see it; even at launch RS2 was infinitely more interactible with every object in the world having an item you could examine, (almost) every tree that you could cut down, et cetera. This game feels like a tame parody in comparison
>>1495625runescape back then had a distinctly more gritty "medieval" feeling art style as well. Not a whole lot of old textures around these days, but the ones that ARE still around stick out like a sore thumb.
koot from 8 hours of sleeping peacefully. shat all over the fishing xp rate.
>>1495701Old software in general felt kind of occult-ish. Now all we get is fortnite 3.0.
I understand why they made combat skills separate for each zone but why is it the same for combat equipment? The equipment in episode 2 is literally the same as episode 1 in every way but with worse stats.Swapping items between episode is tedious and it feels awful when you are clicking to swap into inferior equipment.
>>1495918I've heard you can attune your equipment to whatever chapter you want using the obelisks in each area. Not sure how though. Might have to unlock chapter 4 though.
>>1495918>Swapping items between episode is tediousThe quartermaster interface has an "autoequip" button.
>>1495938You can only attune equipment that's unattuned. Some items will drop that way but it's rare.
>>1495918yeah having a blacksmith shop that you can buy level 0 common equipment from for each chapter would be nice.
>>1496083realistically they should start you with a set of level 0 gear. we're working for the town guard, and the captain sends us out on a scouting party completely unarmed. shit's goofy.
>>1496084maybe i just want some more money sinks for all the silver I'm making cooking stew
>>1495714yeah, i'm for sure going to focus on alchemy for my afk time, seems to have pretty good rates. (and also the cape will probably look based as fuck)
I don't like having to check Gower's personal twitter for updates why isn't there a website for this game?
update imminent
>>1496113Source?
>>1496133a popup appeared in game saying forced logout in 5 minutes for an update
>>1496145Based

>>1496338there's nothing to do in tirannwn, it literally only exists for that quest

>>1496351you could just kill any other mob instead and you'd probably get better drops
>>1496353sounds like something a leaf lover would say
>Class Weapon and Armor aestheticsCryoknight = Hammermage >>> Power Gap >>> A literal pile of dog shit >>>>>>>>> Guardian
>>1496412fuck you
>>1496412Guardian only looks shit early onAfterwards they turn into a mix of vikings and treebeard ents it's cool as fuck
>>1496412So what exactly do those classes actually do? Does it just change your damage type to one of the three elements?
>>1496607it changes your total level number to green, yellow or blue
>>1496607you're gonna sometimes get gear that is exclusive to either of the 3 classes. Also you gain damage vulnerability to either of the 3 corresponding elementsiirc you eventually unlock special attacks exclusive to your class , but i haven't gotten those yet
>>1496607>>1496635gear is class-specific and damage types are tied to weapon types (so e.g. a kanabo, one of the classless items from episode 1, always does tempestae) so classes affect you in that way>Also you gain damage vulnerability to either of the 3 corresponding elementsi don't think it's inherent vulnerability, i think it's just a weakness of that class's armormy hammermage gear all has low arborae resistance for example
I don't want to play any more. I just afk now.
While ash planks are probably more efficient I decided I wanted to do pine for a bit since it's only 3 rooms away from the carpentry building and you don't have to deal with hostile mobs getting there.
>>1497018you'll grow to love the aggressive mobs in chapter 1/2. there are some in chapter 3 that instantly engage you the moment you step on any adjacent tile. you'll be using the escape spell a lot.
>>1497019Sounds awful, can't wait
>>1497019if you mean the tentacles, those rooms are laid out so that you can avoid getting near them if you walk carefully
>>1496308isn't cryo the only one with smithing?
>>1497269in episode 3 you get access to 3 different weapon crafting skillsone makes gear for each of the three classes
Man I really want to go into the mines I crave rocks and metal in another lifetime I must have been a Dwarf I swear.
>>1497269everyone gets access to everythingjust cryoknight stuff comes from smithingguardian stuff comes from bonewrightinghammerfag stuff comes from stonesculptingyeah thats itthe episode is mining and then three weapon and shield crafting skillsthey'll add the armor skill making in episode 6 probablythree skills that all do the same shit againalready heard that merchanting skill exists purely to make leatherworking less expensive to train, and leatherworking itself isn't useful at all, i dunnocan't even make a satchel bag like NPCs have what a gyp
Can you afk combat with aggressive mobs? or do they just not aggro if you go afk
>>14975171. you pop the autoimmunity spell while afk2. you'd get kicked out the server for afk'ing3. even if the enemy's 20 levels below you, it might be lucky enough to kill you because you will only deal 3 damage while it deals 24 because RNG is MUH BEST COMBAT DESIGN CAN I HAZ CHEESBURGER RAWR X3 REMEBER INVADER ZIM? >>1497533>>even if the enemy's 20 levels below you>Slight combat balancing adjustment so fighting low level foes isn't so overpowered. How's it now? Can just do a mouse jitterer to stop afk
New Gower Patch Notes DropBrighter Shores Patch notes 11th Nov 2024Mostly small bugfixes in today's update. More QOL improvements coming tomorrow! - Make "Prepare for battle" interface indicate the exact reward penalty for fighting low level foes, rather than just saying "less XP".- Slight combat balancing adjustment so fighting low level foes isn't so overpowered.- Make crime den raids require handcuffs, such that upgrading your handcuffs gives the expected XP boost. - Remove bogus stats from passive combat npc cards. - Fix bug with combat toad drops.- Fix 'divide by zero' error showing up during combat.- Fix detective investigation XP bug (the amount of XP was fixed on Saturday, this update only updates the notification to match).- Fix spelling mistake on one of the adathril cards.- Fix various places where we had accidentally written 'is is'.- Minor chat filter improvements.- Fix appearance of map interface for "mine road east". - Fix co-op woodcutting XP (we actually fixed this last Friday but forgot to mention it :)
>this combatis it always going to be like this?
>>1498295If you safespot enemies it's just like you're back in Runescape
>>1498331i safespotted the two headed bearit literally felt like runescape
>buyfags when they realise they can't just buy their woodcutting and mining levels like they did with carpentry and smithing
Brighter Shores is either somebody described Runescape to another person who had never seen anything about it and tried to replicate the game. Or an experiment in making the most boring game possible.
>>1498384Feels good to not sweat the grind efficiency so much. Got 30 WC to go along with my 32 Carp.
more like brighter snores!
>>1498362in runescape i had a stack of 100k rune arrowshere i've got 4 rocks that hit 1 damage
Game is shit and bad. Literally 0 reason to play this over osrs.
This game is full blown GRIDS.
This game is unironically trash. People only lap it up because they're desperate + a former Runecuck dev made it. (Oh he's gotta be a genius!)
>>>/v/694040037wait, there are GOBLINS in this game?!https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sxtxIVRiOZk
holy FUCK this thread is deadlast reply was mine
>>1502412i think most people moved to the vg thread>>>/vg/bsg
Brighter Snore players be like >yo this gameplay is fire
I honestly don't remember RS combat and skilling being this boring but I guess I forgave it since it felt like it was in service of the world design and questing. While I don't mind the world design there's really nothing to look forward to right now in terms of questing. It just feels pointless.
>>1503823People have spent decades saying that the quests were what made RS feel unique among its peers. Similarly the Gower brows have talked about how they liked making quests reminding them of the point and click adventure games they grew up with.Despite this they somehow thought it'd be a good idea to not only make nothing more than a tiny amount of quests for this game's first areas, but to also lock half of them behind obscene requirements that most players in the beta likely won't ever reach. Not really sure if they're genuinely stupid or if they've just lost their passion for quests
>>1504122The few quests we do have feel very much like old school RS quests. They're just behind such obscene skill reqs that no one can play them.
>>1502947>>1503100you could spend 5 years in a coma and somehow make better use of your time than this
>>1502947WHATS UP GUYS BO EH HERE*boaty intro music plays*
>>1504609Waaaa....HEYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!!!!!
>>1502426>no threadrip
Well I don't blame anyone for not making at least a second /vg/ thread, there's really not much at all to talk about right now. Game is basically a really competent Free Alpha, arguably a Beta if you want to be generous. This board is at least slow enough that this thread will stick around for a while.
>>1504999yeah the game needs a lot of work. ill check back in when the dwarf area is released
why are these crime den guys wearing black and white prison stripes? are they escapees? why not change out of their easily identifiable clothing?
the minefighter grind is hell
>>1493598Those modern emotes look so sterile
Any word on if skill reqs will be lowered or new quests coming out? Do we have a roadmap towards episode 5?
>>1505962nopei got the impression that andrew is doing most of the development work himself
Game is totally dead and there's no coming back. The v and vg threads died off so fast. No posts here anymore.
Nothing to actually talk about.
im glad shit mmos like this one die
Giant fucking wall when you hit 20 fishing or what? the lemon pufferfish give barely any XP.
>>1506386XP to the next level quintuples at level 20 because that's when you get access to KP.
>>1506400I was under the impression the AFK activites were really bad but I guess after reading the thread I should AFK fish to 25 so I can do this quest.
>>1506403AFK activities are better than nothing but definitely not good XP compared to active training. What you use the KP for is to convert it directly to XP. You always get 1/4 of a level, until you hit 200.
>>1506403Afk activities seem hit or miss. This was a level 100 activity with zero material use.
>>1506565How did you get to 100 alchemy already? It seems like such a slow grind.
>>1506599Focused it for a few days because I hated how small the 50 cape looked. It really picks up once you unlock the level 30 potion, but potent potions are pretty tedious at first. You eventually get into a pretty good flow state.
>peak is already under 10kIt's over isn't it?
>>1506865>It's over isn't it?Of course it is, the game kinda sucks shit and is basically just an engine demo without a game. Most discussion in and out of game are morons saying 'but its early access' or 'Runescape took 20 years to get good' are ignoring that this has been in development for supposedly 10 years and was just a couple of months away from being Andrew Gower's idea of launch ready which is including special attacks, player trading and leaderboards. None of those things would change the fact that there is basically 0 content other than doing the grind you do at level 1 all the way to 500 without any change. I honestly don't know how people convince themselves that the game is magically going to get better when the dogshit you're playing is what the creator thought was good; it might be time to wake up and realize that maybe Runescape was a lucky time/place for the Gowers and they aren't actually good at making what people think is fun without 10+ years of being dragged around by fans and being told what to do, but at that point other games are also 10 years ahead.
If anyone's like me and bought a one month sub on the first day, don't forget that the cheapest sub plan also auto renews it. Just cancelled mine since I figured there's not much of a reason to play the game right now; in the past week I've only logged in for like twenty seconds per day to set my character to AFK combat for the next 24 hours
I plan on doing all the quests then checking out
