it's not that bad, all games have a steep learning curve and then it levels out quickly.
they've made it so you can hover your mouse over most icons to get an explanation of what that thing is. and yeah it's not just a 'problem' for supervive, lots of BRs have tons of shit going on because they have to.

It's not the learning curve it just feels like a mess of mechanics with little cohesion. Like why do you have a store and weapon upgrades? Why do pots only get upgraded at bases? Why are there 3 ways completely different ways to revive enemies? Dota is more streamlined than this.

But what about the developers? I'm getting strong Riot/chinesium vibes from the studio. "F2P with fair monetization" that ultimately makes the entire game greasy even if it's not pay to win.
Is this one of these games that force a monoculture upon the players? They actually have the gall to claim that GaaS are pro-gamer. Will they have ToS drama? Will they have their own v*nguard? It's also one of these companies that go public right away, with investors and all the stink that brings in. And with how little info they give about the company, I can only assume they're based in China.
Can someone comment on how much corporate vibes the game gives? From the outside, on the scale of 1 to Blizzard, it feels like a strong 8.

store is for if you're unlucky with armor/item/vault drops, you can buy armor for gold you get from killing mobs

adds different playstyles, each item upgrades at level 3 to get a cool passive. like some helms will give you a shield for your tanky characters, some blades will give on hit effects or buff your mana

seems fine to me, you dont even need to own the basecamp to upgrade your pots or repair armor

there are revive shrines which revive your squad after a channel, you can contest this channel by standing on it while an enemy is there so they cant revive. there is Most Wanted, an item you pick up that after 2minutes will revive your squad, or after getting KILLS will revive your squad, this item only appears late game.
there aren't any other ways that i know of to revive, except deathbox revive which is a long channel on top of friendly deathbox.

Characters - some are cute designs (rabbit + schizo flamethrower fox + paladin blob), others are boring ass shit (the niggers, who could've guessed)
Graphics - look cartoonish
Visual effects - looks visible enough from what I've seen, no deadly invisible skillshot that you can't dodge because you can't see it so far from what I've seen. the not-Zac's grab is visible

It's cool that they're NA, I stand corrected. But they're not fucking indie lol. They've already had two rounds of financing and they scored $85 MILLION, before even publishing their first game. That's as much indie as Walmart is a kid's lemonade stand.

It's popular enough to get games quickly
Gameplay and controls feel pretty good for something that's prebeta, but since it's all teambased with voice chat I don't think I'll stick with it, too old for voice chat with zoomers/randos
Has always been terrible in free games in Europe due to the amount of retards yelling in their own language you get

They need to make vaults more engaging or replace them outright. The amount of time you spend in this game shooting the boring vault pylons and doing the mini game to crack vaults during the game adds up over repeated plays. Map feels pretty empty in general. I don't miss Battlerite enough for me to ignore Eternal Return just being a better version of this game.
