New player here. Should I follow the main quests or just grind dungeons?
>>1480169The fastest path to 80 is ignoring quests. At 80 the gem rewards for them scale up with your level, most of the time becoming the highest tier of gem which can be sold for gold or horded for equipment upgrades.At higher levels it's best to run the highest level dungeon you can enter on Normal xp/time wise. The rate that the numbers go up makes fussing over your equipment a futility before 80.
>>1480169Okay unpopular opinion but the mainstory will pretty much make sure you always have appropriate equipment and a selection of accessories and heraldries for wherever you are. Later quests will send you inbetween the same dungeons dozens of time tho - this is because in the original game you had to quite EXP quite hard. Aroundd level 60 the mainstory will net you 15 to 18 gold per mission which is why you should start doing it from there on even if you grind or skip the previous missions.Also keep in mind:>You can skip all mainstory chapters if you overlevel them enough except chapter 9>DONT DO THE CHAPTER 9 MAINSTORY QUEST IT WILL SOFTLOCK YOUR GAME DUE TO A BUG>Chapter 5 has a known bug where it stops giving you a new mainstory quest, you will have to level to 40 and skip itYou will get free +10 epic weapons and armour at level 24, 32, 40, 50 and 60. Don't waste your item magic jellies to enhance low level armour, keep them for lategame. Consider joining our guild for an exp bonus & ask for help if you need any.
