What are some MMOs where I can have npc companions?(I don't have any friends and would like to pretend I do)

>>1506480Honest question: Why play an MMO if you're just going to use NPCs?
>>1507691A surprising amount of people are like OP. Its something I've asked so many people. Ultimately its a combination of a few things. Usually its the sense of progression, being apart of a living world with other players running around, etc. Large open persistent multiplayer worlds is an experience that's hard to replicate with singleplayer games. The only one I've personally seen come close is STALKER 1. >>1506480Guess it depends on how involved those companions are. WoW has delves with an NPC companion and story mode dungeons with NPC groups. ESO has companions you can unlock and you can have one with you at a time. Though you can place them all in your house too. Gw1 has NPC parties, though its a game on the olderside. SWTOR also has a companion that can join you.
>>1508325Yeah, I like playing around people and feeling like I'm part of something, but not necessarily playing with them.
>>1506480>Persona 3/4/5>Kenshi>FFXII>Xenoblade Chronicles? (dunno haven't played it)
