When the status effect is applied, the boss gains stacking resistance to that status effect. Poison Fog has a value of 9999, which bypasses this resistance by merit of such a high value. Before Serenity, Cinnamoth was the only Pal able to keep poison up 24/7 thanks to it's F skill. It is still an absolute monsters vs legendaries and this little fuck I posted solo'd Victor back when he was the hardest boss. The idea was simple, make a tanky Cinnamoth and fucking poison stall.Raid bosses, and I assume hard mode tower bosses (I'll take a poison crossbow to check, but PP seems to hate the idea of a "weak" Pal like Cinnamoth being useful at all.) have an "aura" that activates when they enter combat that protects them from burning and poison, bot HP% based DoTs (an oversight and why bonfires worked, the boss "wasn't in combat").With serenity, any Pal with poison fog can keep 100% uptime provided they don't miss. If I played on a server, I would have loved to attempt poison stall Felbat for pvp. Legend, Burly Body, Diamond Body, and Serenity. Perhaps Burly Body swapped with Vampric, I'd need to see how rocket-tag pvp actually is. For now, I think Felbat is the best status afflictor thanks to it's sustain. Lyleen close second, but grass type fucks it hard. Lyleen Noct has no self heal and Loveander might end up too frail.

If you can take on Blazamut Ryu first, it will spit roast Bella. The only issue with Nitemary is the 95 base attack.With the gear and level advantage, it should be fine to use them though, just teach them all seed mine and flame funnel. Dark types are great in this fight as long as they aren't using dark moves. Also, condense as much as you can.

Returning player here. How's everyone managing with the new mode of pal spawning? I'm honestly finding it a bit of nuisance not being able to spawn my pals exactly where I want them and having to initiate combat myself much more frequently since pals seem to have much smaller aggro range now when set to aggressive. Hopefully there'll be some mod to at least give the option of a button hold to spawn pals further away, or maybe pocketpair will figure out something else eventually, who knows.
