There is objectively no difference between classical music and pop music. It's just music. Listening to classical music because you think it'll somehow elevate you above all the other plebs is the wrong approach, in fact it makes you pretentious and retarded. But even worse than that, it also sets you up for unrealistic expectations of classical pieces, as if you somehow have to "force" yourself to listen to them and that you NEED an IQ of 150 to appreciate and understand them...which is wrong. It's just music. Listen to the piece within the context it was written like you would any other genre, that's how you learn to enjoy classical. Listening to classical pieces while high on weed also helps.
