There is no safe/barren location anymore. Better to hide among the inactive hermits / small villages. Best if you can befriend them enough so you share news in the area. Also never fully trust anything posted by the faction faggots. They don’t hide the fact that hermit hunting and tricking newbies into using fake market charters is part of their fun.

so did people figure out how quality nodes drift work? do all nodes move in the same direction, or do they move in random directions?
One month I can track node movement and another nodes completely desintegrate, I don't understand

Also it’s a good idea to scout around as a new character or with an alt to talk to the folks in the area to get a feel if they’re friendly. If you get stabbed immediately at least you know not to settle there. Also avoid any province that is owned by a realm unless you are ready to work with whoever rules the area. If it is any realm you saw in the forum drama, best to stay away for obvious reasons.
