Before sovereigns the endgame goal was 2 PEN Blackstars and a C7 Kutum, now it's 2 sovereigns at PEN at least, which means 4 PEN blackstars worth of weapons and C7 Kutum which later can be upgraded later to a 5th PEN blackstar. The only part of the playerbase that didn't benefit from the freebies were people who were already sitting at 3 PEN blackstars before the sovereign release, and also had the budget to buy 2 more, especially during the price dip. That was less than 1% of the playerbase that was sitting on almost hardcap AP. You have to realize that these catchup mechanics aren't there to nullify the grinder's grind, but mostly to help new players catch up to the ghost town of uncapped endgame. Without these, a new player will never catch up, just because older players get pushed even further only from daily logins, imperial deliveries, etc, let alone overnight fishing for years and endgame grinding giving billions per hour. So I don't get it, since these freebies also benefit the endgame whales indirectly, by pushing people closer to them and basically giving them more people to do the uncapped game modes that they always complain of being ghost towns. You can't have both, either newer players will be pushed with freebies to play with you, or keep playing with the same 3 people that join RBF and keep inhaling the copium that the 8 year old grind was worth it for this experience.

Reaching the low AP cap of the spot isn't hard so everything else you add around your main gear is what makes the difference in the end. Stuff like an Ain succ weapon, elixir rotation, saving your 200% BSR skill to oneshot one of the 3 minibosses, are stuff that push you to the average and above.

In the end at orzekea you're jumping around like a retard with or without +50 DP, all classes do that, and by doing so you forsake 3 abilities (E, shift+E and shift+C) because they come out so slow, you're not free to dump your rotation as you would in a safer spot and you lose DPS. I would remove the spin-up part from shift+E entirely and make shift+C cancellable by dashing, or at least make it come out faster. I'd also rework some skills in the kit as literally nobody uses them.I could nitpick and i'm not even touching pvp, let's just say i'd take a 20% damage 20% speed buff over a 40% damage.
