Steeve and I have ported the resource pack over to 1.21.4, we're experimenting with some new model attributes that Mojang has added though, which got us a little carried away. In other news, Westman19 has said he wants to work on a new canal town, which will be very nice. He'll announce the project himself when he gets to it.

Since it looks like a total cave town victory, I'm thinking that we choose the spawn chasm as the location. It already has a few builds (The Water temple, Witcher's Inn and John Price's Freak off diddy party mansion). There's a lot of space, and it's close to spawn, so we can have more builds around spawn this way.

The alpha town and cave Town projects have sort of tied in votes, so honestly we can start with whichever is most convenient. If we start with cave Town, I still think that the chasm is an excellent location to build it in, I don't have any places in mind for the alpha town.

So, I have one small issue with the hats. Me and Steeve are unable to think of a way to make them backwards compatible. The server supports clients below 1.21.4, and due to the changes in the resourcepack format, hats will just appear as leather helmets on clients below 1.21.4.
