>What is this?
My Hero Ultra Rumble is a F2P battle royale game based off the My Hero Academia anime. It features various characters from the series (with more to be added), each with a unique playstyle and different costumes. Team up with other players or go in solo and try to become the champion!
The game is available on Steam, Playstation, XBOX, and Switch, with crossplay between all platforms.

Did this with my friends who were always in talks of getting me to ace back in the day, since they are both frequent ace rankers, always saying i had the chops for it, but i would always tell myself it wasnt worth it
Turns out ranked was basically the only way for me to get decent lobbies in EU, and not having to deal with delay is a big deal. So i actually managed to hold on my own

My typical level progression with Assault Kiri is alpha 4 (for the extra mobility) -> gamma 4 -> beta 4 -> gamma 9 -> beta 9 -> alpha 9.

Most likely, you respawn with full ammo on everything. This makes SAs with long cooldowns like Overhaul's and Momo's disproportionately powerful.

Although in Momo's case, do we even know if healing with potions is possible in this gamemode? Or leveling with cards?
Momo's SA might very well turn out to be useless, as well.

The trailer showcased a few full support drink spawns and they have shown them equipped to the quick item use key. With the exception of revive cards, Momo is probably not losing out on utility. It'd be a little funny if they didn't change and account for the item % and released it as is, wasting part of your SA and giving you a useless card.

This goes for just about every game, but, knowing what your character can do and what their character can also do helps a lot. Knowing your bread and butter combos, your optimal combos, quirk level power spikes and general game sense and mechanics goes a long way. Fastest way to do this is to watch a couple of youtube videos on mechanics so I'd suggest you do that. I watched a lot of videos but I can't possibly remember or name all of them but these three helped me a lot. Just ignore the part about melee canceling when going up a wall, it's super niche and just slows you down compared to a neutral or a forward wall jump to get you to where you want to go. Hope this helps you a little bit, please make sure to look up a character guide for the character(s) you play and lab it out in training mode as well.

I'm still figuring out what makes it activate, but i've already done it twice during testing, the bots don't attack you at all so it aint visual, and you keep it permanently unless you activate a quirk with permeation in it.

Tech Mirio's alpha is similar to Mt. Lady's alpha, but does way more damage at low levels and slightly less damage at level 9. However, its range is MUCH farther than Mt. Lady's alpha, around 2x at least. Tech Mirio actually outranges both Strike Bakugo and All Might, and has an alpha range roughly equivalent to Assault Endeavor. Additionally, Tech Mirio's fire rate is way higher than Mt. Lady's.
The permeation from holding down his alpha is very forgiving. In open space, it only lasts a fraction of a second, but if you're passing through something large when it would ordinarily wear off, it will stay active for a good while longer to give you the opportunity to completely pass through the object (though it WILL force you out after about 1 second.)
Due to the extreme speed and irregularity of his alpha dashes, I don't think anyone but aim gods or PC controller users will be able to feasibly hold down the button and zoom around while hitting all their shots. However, you can reliably line up your shot and then do two alphas+dash for a quick ~100 damage, and just keep repeating that.
His alpha dash acts as a momentum multiplier. If you roll off a rooftop ledge and start throwing alphas, you can speed up in midair and cover quite a lot of distance. If you walljump (Wall Runner or speed card) and then alpha, you can gain a decent amount of height. I expect pairing it with a Kendo throw would let him cover tremendous distance.

Tech Mirio's beta is similar to Rapid Mirio's beta, but a little less maneuverable, and with far shorter range. Additionally, Tech Mirio's position is completely obvious while using his beta. Like Rapid Mirio, he can use it to ascend/descend through vertical structures and pass through walls, but it's not an escape tool beyond that.
The turning radius is much wider than Rapid Mirio's beta, to the point where if you need to make a U-turn for whatever reason, you're better off holding S to slow down until you reverse direction directly toward the camera instead of trying to turn around using A or D.
The same techs regarding camera position that exist for Rapid Mirio's beta also work for Tech Mirio's beta. If you point your camera directly downward, you won't move forward at all, though I don't think this is very useful.
If you're too close to an enemy when you initiate your beta, the enemy may fall out of it, with you continuing to move past them. This can be mitigated by tilting the camera slightly downward before the beta, which will cause you to move forward more slowly. However, if you tilt it too far down, the enemy will fall out of the beta in the other direction, since the beta hits push the enemy forward.
The maximum damage potential of his beta is 107 damage at level 1, and 170 damage at level 9. The slam at the end accounts for 71 and 101 of this damage, respectively.
His beta lasts about 1.5 seconds at level 1, and 3 seconds at level 9.
If you are close enough to the enemy, it is possible to simply tap beta and hit them with just the slam.
On HP, melee 1->melee 1->beta might be a 240 damage true combo at level 9.

Tech Mirio's gamma is, it turns out, not as oppressive as I feared. It's still really good, however. Its cooldown is 3 seconds at level 1 and 1 second at level 9, but it only incurs the cooldown in the first place if the counter ISN'T triggered.
If the enemy does trigger the counter, it gives them a very obvious cue in the form of a freeze frame+sound effect before Mirio does his dash. This means that if you're in a fight against a Tech Mirio, you can be ready for potential counters and dodge them as they come in.
To dodge, don't spam the roll button. Instead get the timing down so you can be ready exactly when the freeze-frame ends, and roll toward Mirio when he starts his dash. At mid-long range, don't roll immediately. Wait for him to get a little closer. At melee range, rolling is impossible, you're just going to take the hit.
However, if you're not prepared for a Tech Mirio (Endeavor using his gamma through walls, for example) you may miss this dodge window. Additionally, ANY airborne fighters are going to get shredded by Mirio if they so much as look at him, since being in the air means they can't dodge, and he can use his gamma as frequently as he wants if the counter keeps activating.
Additionally, enemies who have slow-moving attacks which are easy to see coming such as Tech Dabi's alpha, Overhaul's gamma, AfO's charged alpha, Tech Denki's alpha, etc, are also quite vulnerable to Tech Mirio's gamma since he can wait until AFTER they've already initiated the attack, and then counter it. They are punished for even attempting to use these attacks on him.

He does have to be pointing his camera in the direction of the enemy when he uses his gamma, as his camera gets locked in place for the duration. This means that against an Endeavor or Tamaki, for example, you have to look in the direction of the enemy and then gamma.
However, even if the counter fails due to the attack being indirect (Strike Shiggy's beta, Momo's gamma, etc) or due to Mirio not looking at the source of the damage, he is still rendered invincible during the animation.
I think the primary countermeasure to Tech Mirio's gamma is to be ready for it. If you trigger it accidentally, be ready to dodge, but if he tries to counter and you manage to catch yourself before damaging him, you can wait a second for the gamma to end and then get 1-2 free shots in as he is locked into an animation afterward.

Tech Mirio's biggest weakness is his lack of vertical mobility. For that, I recommend Wall Runner.
Overall, Tech Mirio seems very good. His ability to weave in and out of walls with his alpha will likely make him even more rapid than Rapid Mirio. That said, he's not quite as good at covering distance and escaping as Rapid Mirio is, and his alpha is way more aim-dependent. His gamma will probably decimate bad players and be annoying for good players, though even good players are going to have a very tough time with him if they play aerial characters.

Willpower's decent for a budget tuning. I don't think Revenge Rapid is very good since it only lasts 4.5 seconds at level 4. If the attack that broke your shield also knocked you down, just recovering from that is going to be a big chunk of your wallrunning time.
HP and GP sucker aren't very good at low levels, though they're better than nothing.

Currently, the best budget tunings in the game (the ones impacted the least by being limited to levels 3/4) are:

Trance Blow wouldn't be bad on Strike Denki (4 free alphas if he gets a melee off) but his melee isn't the easiest to land, so I don't know how often you'd get to use it.
Willpower, Revenge Technical, Perception, and Kota Finder never hurt.

Space Hop sounds really good when paired with Wall Runner for him, you'd be surprised at both the height and speed you get from a wall jump. Trance blow is too expensive for your down power values, so that still makes Willpower his number one. Your only real counter should be Aizawa, so I'd say tech against that.

For his alpha, I find that it's much easier to land shots if you a burst of two alphas+one dash, then line up a new shot. He moves way too quickly and erratically to try and land all his alphas while just holding the fire button down.
You have to tweak your speed with his beta to prevent people from falling out of it.
His gamma is pretty reliable, but you have to do it when you're reasonably sure you're about to be damaged. If you just spam it, you'll get punished due to being locked into an animation afterward.

Most of my 10k+ damage games have been using a character with the double toga vampire sucker build.
You pretty much need to be constantly fighting throughout the entire match, and get a sweaty enough lobby where people stay alive or rez enough to reach the threshold.
I found that the best way to reliable be able to stay in the fight nonstop is using the double sucker build, alternatively you could have a good teammate that LOVES using team heals but good luck finding that with randoms.

Oh yea i figured it out almost immediately, forgot to post the results, i don't mind sharing since the thread typically keeps bugs like this underwraps (still have barely seen the infinite kiri SA in ranked, thanks for not making me deal with red kiri's using it.)
Basically you have to jump into a solid permeable object (like a pillar or wall), tap your SA on and off and then immediately beta while in the air but before you enter the object, it for some reason spits you out of your beta, cancelling it but without cancelling the permeation state.
You get to keep it infinitely so long as you don't use any of your quirks that re-activate permeation, including just tapping alpha to not get the permeation properties.
I've tested it with shadow in training and it doesn't seem like anyone can do anything to cancel it or attack you through it, not even Aizawa's SA works, the only character that can possibly do something is kuro throwing you into the storm.
I'll try to post a video of me doing it a bit later on when i get back on the game, it's pretty consistant once you get the timing down, tho i've been told that it's harder to do with good latency, but it's definitely still possible.

I think you should have at least one beta damage+ (or one GP+ and one HP+) because the minimum damage increase from tuning is 1, which means the barrage portion of his beta (which deals 3 damage per hit) will be bumped up to 4 damage per hit, a 33% increase.
If you can have both GP+ and HP+ so that at least one damage increase is active at all times, that will suffice instead of beta+, but in any case I think you definitely want to have his beta buffed in some way at all times.

This is my build for him. I'd definitely recommend putting Rapidgo over (L)ida for the extra gamma damage if you have him. Also, consider replacing Shinso's beta damage up with an HP damage item like Endi/Mic. This will get you the 4-damage bonus that >>1949179 is talking about while also adding more damage to your melee, alpha, and gamma.
Apart from that, your build is golden. Space Hop takes a bit to get used to, especially if you're like me and have typically run Wallrunner instead. After a while, you really start noticing the benefits. Big tip with Space Hop is that any building with a ceiling that you can "fall through" by activating SA or spamming alphas can also be done in reverse. You can jump up through the ceiling with the space hop+double alpha boost to jumpscare anyone at the top or just escape a bad situation.

Here is a video of me activating the glitch, like i said before you have to jump, flicker switch SA on and off then immediately beta into a wall afterwards.
You will remain in permeation indefinitely, you can deactivate the glitch by doing any quirk that re-activates permeation (like SA).
There is also another version of the glitch that lets you keep the whole "walking through walls" thing instead of just the invincibility, but i have no clue on how to replicate it. i only ever got it during a ranked match and i didnt do anything special apart from spamming alphas.

I saw someone on the disc snitch about this video, it's a whole lot of yapping and complaining but at 22:40 he starts showcasing all the exploits and glitches in the game.
I believe the thread knew about almost all of these: (infinite hardening, toga's strike kendo beta damage reduction glitch, cementoss and kuro being able to glitch out of the map ect.)
I had forgotten about the quirk card 2.0 glitch for a bit once the original exploit got patched, but i do remeber tech and rapid cards still being glitchable by freezing the game in some way. i didn't know it was possible to do on console with the share button.(or by just dragging the game window, thought you needed to fully lock the program with a third party app.)
What's completely new to me is the lida infinite gamma glitch 2.0, had no idea that could happen again, haven't tested it but i'm pretty sure it works like the old one since the rest of the exploits are accurate.
This also showcases the "original" infinite permeation glitch with just alpha's >>1949628, and that it is apperently lag related, that's why monoma >>1950975 could also activate it, though i still think my version of the glitch is more reliable.
I hope the video doesn't reach the wider playerbase, i don't want to deal with infinite hardening red kiri's, permanently turbo lida's or double tech/rapid card abusers every match, hopefully the tourney doesn't have any of these...

Thanks for sharing anon, last time I even heard of window drag somehow being an issue was on Amazon's New World and that was a very, very horribly mismanaged game. It makes a lot of sense anyway, how else would people just pull up a Cheat Engine table or even the debug menu and be free to terrorize ranked? Or you just drop the equivalent of a modded QSS.pak file in the game and play using custom quirks and have every client in your lobby acknowledge it, say, instead of seeing Overhaul with modded alpha to look like Jiro's you'd see his regular alpha being thrown out, completely vanilla.
I think it was not mentioned (and it's been a while since I've seen it) but the duplicating item glitch should still work using the same methods described in the video. Though, like I said, it's been a while since I saw someone dupe a kota drink. Having this and the tournament light a fire up their ass might push Bandai Namco to do something about it. Here's hoping.

You simply have to grind harder. I'm close to that same age and still got a KO ratio well over 3.0.

Finally got the shiny nameplate.
Mic is such a braindead character.

>beta is either an enormous medium-range fast-moving projectile that wraps around cover, deals 100 damage plus a stun to guarantee another 100-200 more damage, and interrupts literally everything including armored moves, or is a super long range giant AoE that lets him deal massive third party damage at no risk to himself
>gamma gives him a ton of mobility on top of dealing a bunch of damage that can be combo'd with his beta or melee
He deals so much damage that he can 1v2 a lot of characters comfortably, and he can just perch on a ledge overlooking a fight and rack up hundreds of damage in a third party.
