You need to get into crafting for this, which involves creating a new character to put the crafting skills into, that character will be useless in combat and need to be carried through the story to level.An item' s stats include whether it's tradable or not, so e.g. to sell event appearances which are often worth a few million, you can buy a player craft armor (tradable) at the CB for 10k, go to the NPC synthesist, and synthesize the event gear and the player craft armor together, then lock the event appearance (1 lock) which costs 50k and let the rest be randomly selected. Then you hope it randomly selects the tradable item's stats, you can repeat it as long as you don't forget to lock the appearance as the failed items will maintain the appearance and can be synthesized again. 2 lock at the NPC costs 2 million and isn't worth it. For e.g. an appearance worth 7 million, you'll probably only spend ~500k in the worst case retrying synthesis at the NPC until you get a tradable item with the right appearance.If both items you want to synthesize are tradable, you can ask a guild member to do whatever synthesis you need for free.

It won't take long, you just have to hit 255 LUK and put one point into Refine Equipment and you're good to go. Ch11 does have some really mean bosses that are hell on sword and shield though, I'd honestly recommend just getting help from a real person on some of them.
