Right now, mabi is a check-box crafting system. We get materials, click craft, then hope for high roll. I propose we introduce a Patent System for crafting.Allow us to register sigged weapons through the royal castle, have these weapons be created with unique properties, then patent a specific blueprint for a set amount of time (for instance, registering the weapon through Royal Castle).Other players would be able to pay the patent owner a fee for the master blueprint to guarantee those stats. No more gambling with rng. This could lead to crafters to allow a dynamic system where both player knowledge is as important as gold. Sigged gear will finally have a real meaning to it.

Why does the pity shop not actually function as a pity shop for anything players actually want from the dungeons giving the currency?I have friends running literally hundreds of neartite dungeons in search of specific materials they need, and seeing nothing for their efforts. They're piling up refined crystal shards to high heaven into the tens of thousands, but the shop offers nothing of any value to them. Why can't we just buy rare dungeon drops with those shards? At this point, literally ANY price would be an improvement over the current situation. Set items at 1k, 10k, whatever it is, just give us a target to work toward. Any form of tangible progress would be an improvement over the current RNG circus. The weapon options in the pity shop are another issue, and one I think could be easily pushed in the same direction. I am currently sitting on a pile of worthless Nightbringer weapons cluttering a bag. They're all below the quality threshold to exchange for cores, so not only are they worse than my existing equipment, but I just can't do anything with them at all (see above for the problem with refined crystal shards having no value). What if, instead of only giving cores for the highest quality weapons, there was a gradual scale of values for the different quality tiers? The whole point of a "pity" shop is to have pity on the players who have terrible RNG luck, and give them measurable progress toward a goal. There is currently nothing to measure, because every goal depends on insanely rare drops, and all you can do is grind infinitely, hoping to strike it rich several hundred times to achieve your goal.
