unironically what point is there to not just retire your team after losing
>>2358644Because the fun is see a team through it's entire career, if there a discrepancy between team values then you get imbuements and even then the other team don't have key skills on most of their players. By the mid game even if touch downs aren't that common in your team you still get SPP from injuring other players, passes, and a free random player at the end of a game gets a boost as well. Really experienced teams at some point will get all the important skills on all their players so the balance tends to really fall strictly into coach tactics.
