It's easy to take it for granted now but it really paved the way for an entire genre of shows with characters that become perpetually stronger, "serious" drawn out fights and so on, which really doesn't start in dragonball until near the tail end of the original show. Once DBZ starts the show takes a different tone entirely and carries on with the seriousness of the original king piccolo saga. I'd say give it a try again and soldier through the start of Dragonball as more of a comfy watch. Dragon Ball Z then has a few different arcs. You just watch it in chronological order, but once again it kind of revolutionized a lot of stuff, and the animation is hella underrated especially compared to what's coming out nowadays. Dragon Ball Super is honestly not even really worth watching compared to the original series, but it does have some interesting parts to it even if the entire thing is somewhat of a mess that pales in quality to both the original series.

First run missed curvature and FCM but it's not like I need to worry about not hitting a groundwork spark and the stats weren't even a high roll but they pretty much matched the benchmarks. Personally I've flip flopped a lot. I finally went back and remade my Falcon parents right and it allowed me to finally get a better one with a little luck. She's not perfect, but I'm gonna roll with it. It took a lot of trial and error with different parents to figure out the right mixture. If you don't get it right it's not the end of the world, just do your best.
