For anyone returning from the past, a patch reset personal quests and you have to do a few before you can access guild.1st quest: "Reliable source of information" from Seneka near the riftstone "Before the Audience Chamber"Then talk to Freddie near the White Dragon Temple exit gate to start the Clan quest.Then talk to Kibiza in the clan room in the Relay Station area. That will get your clan menu choices ungreyed

Word to the wise, everytime you reach a new town/area make sure the FIRST thing you do is TALK TO THE AREA MASTER and choose AREA INFORMATION. This "opens up" the area and If you dont do this immediately you miss out on valuable area rank experience.
Type /autoloot to save yourself a lot of trouble, this has to be done everytime you login though.

There is a trial called Bitterblack Maze you can start at level 8 where you create a character from scratch with no gear and go through a few maps with enemies and bosses. Roguelike elements with found gear, its where most of the cosmetics are found.

Closing to desktop with no error message or popup is usually a sign that it got triggered by something monitoring the process. We'd love to remove it and be able to better attach a debugger for reverse engineering work but it's a little outside of our control at the moment.

Theres also an option to download a HD graphics patch in the launcher, but its not automatic you have to manually download it, which is strange. At least give a pop up to show its a thing, instead its buried away.

I really love the levelling system in this game. I'm currently a medic who also makes his own stimpacks and then is also a chef on the side, but since I need the components and I'm low on credits from buying them, I'm also partially a surveyer and small ranger who goes just outside of tattooine to hunt and get the skins and meat. I can see why people disliked NGE now since it turned everything into set classes you can't diverge from. WoW really did ruin MMOs.

After playing, I think that SWG is the perfect blend of social, sandbox and RPG. I feel like other MMOs lean more towards one or the other. For example, Puzzle Pirates leans heavily into the social game aspects, Islet online leans heavily into the sandbox aspect, most MMOs lean heavily into the RPG aspects, and a lot of modern MMOs not just have the RPG aspect with a tiny social aspect, and no sandbox aspect at all.SWG is that perfect combo. You log in and you can play it like a social game that day and chill in the Cantina and level up your entertainer skills, or you can play it like a sandbox and build your own town, or you can play it like an RPG and do quests.

Local spaceship autist gave me a tour of the Imperial multiplayer POBs after carrying me through a quest. I was expecting these to be a player dimension kinda deal or being glued to the stations but they're actual ships someone can pilot while other people man stations or just sit around in the ship, furnished and all. After some research it looks like these can hold a full party, there's no level or pilot skill restrictions for entering but there may be an issue if you're from an opposing faction and flagged for PVP. Impressive stuff for a 2003 MMO
