I can reliably crank out a UG9 with ease after a few attempts, and a UF with even more attempts but that does not mean the mode is enjoyable. To me it’s just URA with shop bloat tacked on, and not a particularly well executed shop/incentive system making it more of a slog but with less options and skill expression. When playing optimally your run is wholly influenced by rainbow RNG and when a certain song decides it wants to show up. It’s the same thing everytime. It’s a boring slog that’s a regression of what came before it. But at least it doesnt take 50 minutes or whatever

The reason that GL plays poorly ultimately isn't related to it having a shop or resources. It's because at the end of the day, GL just plays like URA, with all the same problems thereof. The shop is just something that's tacked on.Deck compositions are inflexible because speed has a colossal stat cap and unlike the previous two scenarios, you have neither any big training bombs aside from raw rainbows (Aoharu has spirit explosions; MANT has anklets and megaphones) nor any way to circumvent facility levels aside from just hitting speed and wit over and over. In Aoharu, your facilities leveled independently of your number of trainings, and in MANT, the levels didn't matter because the bulk of your training happened in summer anyways.The shop in GL doesn't really impact how you play the career, either, aside from holding the occasional energy lesson or deliberately taking an off-training because you desperately need a specific token. All you're doing is chasing rainbows and hoping that your support cards cooperate. All the songs do is make the rainbows hit harder, if they hit at all, which you have no way to influence or interact with.
