A new story event, a grim reminder how some of the main characters of the Union are boring. Li-Ling's not an appealing lead, Feng Xun and Yalina were compelling enough on their own. And it's funny how sometimes a writer remembers the world's supposed to be gray, with the inclusion of Freddy in the story, but that's forgotten sometimes. It's been such a long time since we had a Shadow lead in a story.

Another turn based combat autobattler gacha that you sometimes turn off for challenge difficulty modes. Is it generous? Ehh, somewhat. Ill-advised to spend money on it because the pulls are too expensive but if you're a rich bored bastard who loves it sure go ahead and blow money. It's a halfhearted main story overshadowed by the better event story writing to sell the new units, but I assume you know that from playing Journey. Gacha system works like this. Every time you pull a 5 star unit, you get 20 stones of a currency that lets you pull 1 5 star of your choice when you collect 100 stones, or 5 5 stars. This resets once a month, and yes, a majority of 5 stars are put on the selection wishlist a month or so after being released, so yes, Jin Qiu is available for you to pick after you collect enough stones. You can also trade these stones in for dupes to increase their resonance level (if you really really REALLY like that character only)Overall it's better than other gachas by having a majority of the character pool available all the time, but a lot of the events are recycled and are minimal in content (check in events, mini quizzes, etc.)Tl:dr it alright
