Have you ever bought a mobile game?
>>
Several. The ones I'm pleased with include: Slice & Dice, Solar Settlers, Kingdom Two Crowns, Rusted Warfare
>>
>>1473249
no
>>
>>1473249
yeah, i put around 100 hours into the android version of romancing saga 2.
>>
>>1473249
I bought only cheap games, partly because Google play gifts me 1 euro sometimes. Just now I bought Lichtspeer which I tried for a bit and looks OK so far.
I also bought Cluedo but I don't know how to to play it and wasn't interested enough to learn it (does anybody here know?), I also bought the complete version of one fireboy and watergirl games which is not free, good purchase and recommend the entire series. Also Limbo, very good game.
>>
>>1474633
>Fireboy and watergirl
Used to love the series as a kid and even downloaded flashplayer to replay them, but some of the puzzles are stupidly hard if you don't have a friend or can't multitask by controlling two characters at once like me.How did they deal with that issue on mobile?
>>
>>1473249
I used to play Minecraft PE back when it was good.
>>
>>1473249
Siralim 2/Ultimate
Dawncaster
Star Traders: Frontiers
Uciana

Pretty sure there's something else but alr forgot it. I did buy tons of indies from Appstore way back.
>>
Magic research is good if you like idle/clicker game autism but hate retarded mobile p2w shit
>>
Yes. I bought Minecraft after years of playing it in a pirated copy as a thanks for the developer for making such a great game. I'm planning to buy Stardew Valley too
>>
>>1473249
Yup, Kemco staples like Dragon Sinker, Chrome Wolf, and Rusted Emeth. The latter two reminds me of my Metal Max Returns experience, while the former, I real liked the hypersimplified pixel looks they have. Wondering if they've got playthrough videos, got stuck in a few areas and though just plain griding would be fine.
>>
>>1473249
I bought pro version of emulators using google rewards
>>
>>1473249
Those are the only ones worth playing. I refuse to get into F2P stuff.
>>
>>1474669
I just change the characters whenever necessary. Some levels are harder than others (at least if you want to take all the diamonds in time) but the it plays perfectly fine.
>>
>>1473249
I bought Infinitode 2
>>
>>1473249
in like 2005 i bought a rayman game for those old cellphones
>>
>>1473249
some rayark rhythm games, Monument Valley
>>
>>1473249
>>
>>1478663
>>
>>1478664
>>
>>1473249
Yeah, bought XCOM 2.
Also question: have somebody bought Cultist Simulator and/or Legend Keepers? Do they include DLC or I have to pay extra? Can't find info.
>>
>>1473249
I bought few of Papa's Louie games because they made them mobile exclusive
>>
yes
bought ex astris, was worth the money
>>
Saiko no sutoka and portal construct
That's the only game I've bought
>>
>>1479029
>Legend Keepers
Separate payment for each DLC on top of the base game.
>>
I'd bought Stardew Valley and Crypt of the Necrodancer.
But Google cucked my country out of not only buying but even downloading games you've already bought.
>>
>>1473249
Many, but not in the last 5+ years.
>>
>>1473249
Only ever bought one and it was rollercoaster tycoon
>>
Gta San Andreas
FF bundles back before iOS had emu
World of goo
>>
>>1473249
dungeon maker and dungeon squad
if gamecoaster ever makes another game i'll probably buy that too
>>
I have some Kemco games, then Terraria and Bloodstained

Can't recall if I have others outside of the three mentioned since I usually grab those very cheap games when they're running a deal that makes them practically free to buy
>>
>>1473249
Ontime I bought an expansion pack for extreme landings.
>>
>>1473249
I bought Minecraft PE back in the day....
>>
>>1473249
I bought dungeon squad, played it for 30 minutes and refunded, absolutely incomprehensible UI for a game that amounts to just holding your finger on enemies
>>
>>1473249
you ever play angry birds? that shit is great man
>>
>>1473249
WitchSpring series, no regrets.
Dungeon Maker, some regrets.
Also bought the Chimera Recollect DLC, pointless as it was just to support the dev, goodnight sweet prince :(
>>
>>1485336
>spoiler
Oh god what happend to him?
>>
>>1485354
Nothing, the game just doesn't work on newer android versions.
>>
>>1485354
dunno what happened but my googlefu shows his games were taken out from all stores and his webpage died
he made a update on the artist formerly known as Twitter that he's still alive though, so that's nice
>>
>>1473249
I bought the SoTN port, it was 2.99. I'll probably buy kingdom rush 5 unless I can get a pirated steam version
>>
I bought Chaos Rings III recently. I Got CFW on my Vita so I can go through the rest of the series with controller support.
>>
>>1473249
Ff1
Ff2
FFT
Dungeon defense
Dungeon make
Dungeon squad
Dragon quest 1
Witch spring
Magic research
>>
>>1473249
I bought FFIV and DQ6. I bought FFIV through the Amazon store though, and somehow through various phone changes my license for it got revoked. So I don't buy mobile games anymore.
>>
>>1473249
Cult simulator, fnaf games, discount stuff, dead cells, stardew valley,terraria... yeah i am no stranger to it
>>
titan quest was well worth the $20 or whatever I paid for, probably put 300-400 hours into it
>>
>>1473249
For me it's Deemo and Cytus
>>
>>1473249
no, but I wasted $2.5 in gems once
it wasn't worth it
>>
>>1473249
The vast and overwhelming majority of mobile games suck ass. At best, they're inferior versions of PC games/ports. Literally the only reason the mobile market is so big is because Asians are the prime buyers of mobile games and hardly any of them can afford a PC. The market is catering to the majority demographic since Asians make up most of the world's population. This is fact and can not be refuted.
>>
prob gonna pay for Slice and Dice cause I want it on my mobile.
I wish you could use the same key to use the game (and Slay the Spire too) on mobile and steam ;_;
>>
Does anyone here know how to purchase region locked apps? I want to buy a japanese game that isn't uploaded anywhere else.
>>
it's possible to pirate android games without a rooted device, right?
>>
>>1505551
Yes.
>>
>>1505780
where at? I tend to find sites with viruses or broken apks
>>

Minecraft , some aaa ports on iOS but stopped after I got a steam deck then a rog ally.

Layton Mystery Room has a good OST.
>>
Back in the Java days. I miss old Gameloft, Digital Chocolate, and random games you found on some sites with a DL link. DOOM RPG 1 and 2 were really cool, and it was funny to have a Strip Club management game in my phone when I was like 14.
I miss Java games in general.

Graveyard Keeper
Monument Valley 1&2
Pocket City 1 (2 sucks)
Potion Permit
Samarost games
Terraria
The Room series
The Viridian Obelisk
Convenience Stories
Stardew Valley
Alterknight
9th Dawn III
Ex Astris
My Time At Portia
Titan Quest
Green Project (awesome game but dev pulled it from the play store)

Is google play pass Worth it?
>>
>>1554682
I was on the Pass for seven months (it was a 80% off deal) and I got a lot of value out of it. It's a good way to try a lot of different games without buying them, play expensive games you don't necessarily want to own/replay, or temporarily check out DLCs in games you do own.
>some fine games on the Pass I can recommend include:
Kingdom Two Crowns
Iron Marines/Iron Marines Invasion
Xenowerk Tactics
80 Days
Golf Peaks
Hook
Path of Giants
Mini Metro
>there were also games I didn't quite like:
Sagrada
Door Kickers
Loop Heroes
Heck Deck
Professor Layton games
Out There: Omega Edition
Roundguard
Crying Suns
Element
>>
Shit I've got play pass and don't see anything that looks interesting.

What's good out there /vgm/?
>>
>>1554722
Stardew Valley, Brotato, dead cells, Slay the Spire, Scourgebringer and a gazillion of jrpgs with pixel art
>>
>>1554722
Maybe try one of those 'uninteresting' games anyway. Looks can be deceiving.
>>
>>1473249
Bought dawncaster it's a very good card game
>>
>>1473249
There was some old top down action RPG that released in the early 2010's, I bought the series. I wish I could remember what it was, they were simple but fun
>>
>>1473249
More than ten years ago. Of the ones i do remember:

Some cake decorating game
Classic Doodle Jump
Some zombie run n'gun game
Two or three other games I can't remember
>>
Card thief because it's dirt cheap, you have to buy premium to instantly open the collected boxes, but it ended in significantly reducing the gameplay time, which is dumb. Game does have a high degree of replay ability

FFT War of the Lions

I got so tired of the slowdown on emulators that I bought it, a long time ago. It's very good. Even got rid of the bugs from the original. There's extra content too.

And while I have Ply Pass it's been a while since I've found much on the store that wasn't gatcha slop.

Would be cool to find a non chinkshit Mobile compatible MMORPG but I've yet to find anything.

Any suggestions?

>>
Uh... yes? This is the board for mobile games. How the hell could you even be here if you never bought any?

The only decent free mobile games are like, the very best of the gachas, or the very few legitimately entirely free games with no ads or anything, like Simon Tatham's puzzle collection.

You've gotta actually buy (or pirate I guess?) mobile games if you want good mobile games. You get what you pay for.

>Slice & Dice
That game is on mobile? It's genuinely over for me.
>>
>>1569184
Yeah, they even made it work in portrait mode in the last big content update. Seriously, not enough devs realize that if a game doesn't require you to use both hands, it's just better to play vertically.
>>
>>1567030
gachas are shit and dont classify as games
>>
>>1569606
Most don't. In my opinion, any game with an autoplay button where you can just have every battle play itself isn't really much of a game, and most gachas have that. It's considered standard and a selling point. Not all do, though - some are more indepth than that, and have interesting systems you actually have to engage with.
But yeah, my point is, mostly, you need to buy a game to play a game. Free2play stuff is almost universally bad, especially in the mobile gaming sphere. Those exceptions that exist are so rare they're barely worth discussing.
>>
>>1474779
Dawncaster is the only one I've ever bought and it's the only one I play anymore. So fucking good

This kind of shit is why I refuse to buy mobile games anymore. I bought some indie gaymes on jewgle play some years back like mr legs, radiohammer, and yankais triangle. Most of them not only got delisted but also deleted, so I'm unable to redownload them without pirating. Not doing that again, what the hell is the point of buying mobile gaymes if the devs are gonna be a bunch of cunts and yank them a couple years later? The hell is wrong with them? My favorite stunt these faggot devs like to pull is removing the android version but not itoddler cause 60-70% of the mobile market can go fuck themselves.
