Guess it depends from a story point of view or a liked character one. Since Super Reykie or the story alters will probably have some excitement to them.
Though my personal next hyped alt would be Giansar, I love that man way too much. Wouldn't blame people who say Isaribi however, he's one of the few launch characters who hasn't gotten an alt yet.

For me it's Vulpecula because he's the reason I downloaded the game despite it being Japanese only but I think Giansar might be more popular cause dragon = cool

I feel like the next anticipated alt could be Ryekie, Akashi, or Barrel because Akashi and Barrel their alts are over three years old now and Ryekie's will be 4 years old in December. But this made me think about who might be the most likely to get a the first 2nd alt, which newer character was most likely to get an alt next, and which of the six launch characters is most likely to get an alt next. So I decided to average the votes of the Twitter and wiki popularity polls to have a small scale "definitive" top 20 list to get an idea from a popularity perspective. Also doing this some characters had half a vote I just rounded down for simplicity.

Any of the top nine characters could be the first character to get a 2nd alt from a popularity standpoint but again I think Ryekie, Akashi, or Barrel are probably the safest bets because what I mentioned earlier.

As for newer characters I'd say Giansar because of popularity but Vulpecula has been in the game longer even if his popularity seems to have fallen in the past year I feel like him being in the game longer might make a difference.

Then for remaining launch character to get an alt I think it will be Sui even though Isaribi is the most popular of the six launch characters left. Akashi and Mokdai have had alts for years now and Sui does not have on yet.

We have a few things that will be starting within the next week.

First there will be a high difficulty quest. "Strong Enemy Attack SS Class - Martial Arts Competition Banquet -" There will be special rules for the quest Buffs and Debuffs will not be granted twice so no stacking and the endurance gauge mechanic. The Heroes and Sidekicks from The Glorious Rising Moon event will have bonus effects Star Insignia Pubraseer and Gaisei will have 50% more attack while Orbiter will have debuff duration from his own skills increased by 1. While the sidekick versions of Gaisei, Yotaro, and Orbiter will grant heroes Basic HP+1000, Basic ATK+500 and Damage taken - 250

A little ironic, isn't it? My plan was to spark for him originally so the silver lining here is that this should still give me some more time to save up. The odds of getting the one 5* star I want out of three just seem too unlikely.
I'm moreso concerned about the other banners now. As much as I'd really like to have a "full dex" and unlock every SQ like I've done with Housamo, balancing that while also saving up a spark might be impossible.

I wouldn't risk it on a triple rate up banner besides I think this is the 4th or 5th banner Giansar has been a focus character for in just a little over a year. So Lifewonders will put him on another banner I'd say 6 months tops. As for trying to get every character I would not attempt it because LiveAHero doesn't have the opportunities to earn stones and especially tickets like Housamo does. Unless you want to/can spend money about every two months when we get a new event then that's up to you. Which to get one five star character guaranteed it would be around 380 dollars.


Also on a different note I'm normal about Pubraseer's quest. Yep totally completely normal.

Housamo has almost double the amount of currency you can earn. I know I rambled about this in the other thread but since that's gone I'll just put it here just in case someone might want this info.

If you start playing Housamo and LiveAHero at the same time with a new login streak and get all 10 tickets in Andvari's shop in Housamo for two months after 60 days you'd have 191 stones worth or 38.2 summons in Housamo and you'd have 104 stones or 20.8 summons in LiveAHero. This isn't counting the 50th/100th day login milestones because no one will have the same number of total login days but you'd get an extra 10/20 stones depending one which milestone you passed.
If you want to add a brand new event into the mix Housamo gives out around 95 to 100 stones worth while LiveAHero gives around 61 stones worth for each new event. Also there are 25 stones in Andvari's shop but you can't get all of them and the tickets because that would take 10,000 rainbow shards a month.

If they do eventually add a Rainbow Shard equivalent to the shop in LiveAHero I feel like they'd only have 5 tickets a month because that's how many tickets each new event has in their item exchange shop. But even that would help a bit by making the average time to get 1000 stones go from around 9 to 10 months to about 8 months

Yeah, I'd take whatever I can get, honestly. Part of me also hopes they'd consider making the resources closer to Housamo if/when the roster starts catching up in size. Though given the smaller banner sizes, I wouldn't expect it to happen anytime soon if at all.

Oh, and by "Bookmarks" I was actually talking about the "Bookmarks of the Past" they added a few years back that let you read older SQs at the Tower of Babel. To me, they kinda lessen the blow of not being able to get the 5* you wanted by at least letting you read a short story with them. You'd just have to be patient.
LAH doesn't have that yet, as far as I know.

When it comes to Gacha games I always say save for your favorites. At least the current rerun gives you a small boost to getting to 1000 stones.

On a slightly related note I don’t remember if I said this before but I noticed something this year with character alts. Specifically Obsidius and Pubraseer. They both got a new outfit in an event Obsidius got a hiking outfit for ~With Love, from~ Choco Volcano and Pubraseer got a swimsuit for Rookies Summer Festa. Then in the next event they got alts. Technically there was a rerun between ~With Love, from~ Choco Volcano and Jailbreak! Health Check Crisis! But it still checks out with Pubraseer and if Lifewonders keeps doing this then we can possibly have an idea on who will be getting an alt next.

If you mean Bloom out of those candidates and already did your husbando or just need a tiebreaker then i'd say it should be the one you consistently use for farming your dailies or use to nuke events when not having enough bonus units since it is just getting a third passive so you can do run three bonus passives for more Exp, Friendship, Coins, Medals, P.Gem or use Auto while still using the most relevant one to streamline the process, and with that in mind i would say Christmas Monomasa or Summer Barrel, the former i don't have myself but someone on my friend list have S3+Gold Elemedal+RainbowElemedal one that just deletes the Medal encounters on Turn 2 (Which lets my Medal Farm own team use full medal boosters and Procy without needing to auto and without me needing to manually play, great QoL), S.Barrel is my own old workhorse for farming due his simple and straightforward S3.

Point is, first bloom your favorite character because it is your favorite characters and you will probably use him as much as you can anyway even if it is just as passive holding stick on a farm team, then bloom what you use for farming, which is probably supporting your favorite, then Bloom the unit you have on your Supportlist so you can deck them out in 3 Passives and possibly get more people to choose them and then save for potential Alts so you can instant cap them.

But that was just how i did it, S.Barrel and (Welfare) Pubes first, then the characters who farmed (Barrel and S.Victom) and did Challenge Quests (Circus Furlong and Storm Procy) with them, then filled out so i had one of each element Bloomed and on my support list, point is, and then Sterio and Star Pubes hit, if you want the meta pick it would be your farmers so they can carry more drop bonus passives when farming cause that shit adds up.

I looked at previous events and the latest a Christmas event started was Melody Meteorite Christmas on December 29th while other Christmas events started around the 23rd so it wouldn't be impossible to get a new Christmas event. But you're probably right about Santa Claus Workout being reprinted because of Polaris Mask and Monomasa plus we don't get many brand new events back to back anymore.

We are getting a Character Development Campaign it starts this Wednesday and will end on Monday.

It will focus on Training Bands and Parallel Quartz and there are two things to note.

*1: When using equipment skills that increase the EXP etc. added to heroes deployed in battle, the reward amount will be "original amount earned x (200% + increased % amount earned from equipment skills)".

*2: If double rewards are set for multiple quest types at the same time, the limit will be counted separately for each type.

I just used my combo team while Alphecca was the support unit. For sidekicks Flamier had Okitaka to boost combo and Alphecca's damage while Pubraseer just used Orbiter's skill. As for Alphecca and Lilac I didn't use their sidekicks I just constantly used their second skills for damage and combo gain. And for passives I didn't have anything to affect combo if I had everyone use Barrel's passive the combo could have been higher. I had actually recorded the entire fight but didn't think about the file size limit and I don't know how to work around that so I just posted the screenshot instead.

Also I'm the one who posted about the Character Development Campaign and I promise that was the name when I downloaded the image from the announcement page.

How the hell are you suppose to beat the vine boss in the dungeon mode?!

Here's an overview of the boss.

The boss starts with 10 stacks of Ivy Protection and each stack reduces the damage it takes by 10%. One stack of Ivy Protection will be removed each time you defeat one of the ivy vine enemies. For each Ivy Protection that is removed the boss will get a 5% attack boost and it's second and third skills will cost 500 less view power to use. Also the boss is immune to both poison and silence plus at the end of the turn it will regenerate 10% of it's max HP and revive both ivy vines.

It's first skill deals 80% damage to one hero and if the boss has 4 for less stacks of Ivy Protection it will attack again.

Second Skill costs 6,000 view power and deals 70% damage to all heroes if the boss has 8 or less stacks of Ivy Protection the other enemies will attack with their first skill.

Third Skill costs 10,000 view power and deals 110% damage to all heroes and reduces their defense for the next time they take damage and if the boss doesn't have any Ivy Protection the damage is increased to 160%
As mentioned before the ivy enemies will remove one Ivy Protection from the boss each time they are defeated. However when the number of Ivy Protection is below 5 the ivy vines will get a 30% attack boost and 10 extra points of speed.

They only have two skills.

The first skill deals 70% damage to one hero and it will raise it's defense afterwards.

The second skill deals 110% damage to one hero and reduces the hero's speed.


I still haven't beat this boss either I got it's HP down to about 30% on my best attempt. It's basically a balancing act of lowering it's protection stacks enough to deal damage but not too low where everything gets a boost. Or go in guns blazing making it lose all of its Ivy Protection to do as much damage as soon as possible.

I know it doesn't help take the sting out of it but you have my condolences. Kiloc seems interesting at a glance I think he's the first instance of a hero providing field effects so that's something. As for me I'm not summoning but I will admit I'm slightly tempted because Isaribi's Line Noise gimmick has been fun to use and I even encountered a glitch with it.

I'm guessing you took this screenshot after Isaribi defeated the final enemy with his Line Noise gimmick? Then the game started playing the victory theme but not moving to the results screen until you had a hero use a skill. I'm sorry that you guys didn't get Giansar but you need to remember that you're working with a 2% chance or 4% on the last pull on a multi. And two of you pulled less than 30 times. While I don't know the exact odds of getting a specific 5 star focus or a 5 star in general within 29 or 16 pulls. I have some thoughts about the new characters.

Giansar having a new damage over time status with Explosion is interesting. Seems like him and Ghostwoods Flamier could work well together to spread more stacks of Explosion around. Could also have some synergy with Jailbreak Obsidius.

Alend being Enminty support with barriers and the new Induction status is surprising since the only other character that has that gimmick is Bygul if I'm not mistaken.

Senthak seems cool with his Virtual Image status but it being tied only to his first skill feels a bit underwhelming. What is also interesting to me is I think he's the first character to inflict two stacks of burn guaranteed outside of enemies that are immune. That's crazy considering the highest chance has always been 60% IIRC

I'm sorry to you all who tried for Giansar but couldn't get him even if me saying sorry doesn't take the sting out of it.

Logging in everyday is better than logging in every so often. You'll get 14 Ether Stones every 8 days when you do complete your dailies and the 8 day login bonus. Even so it's going to take a while to get to a spark but I believe in you!

That's because one of the passives I got was Sui's Sewing Needle which increases the damage an enemy takes by 25% for each debuff they have up to 100%. Since Speed Down doesn't go away until the boss takes another action everyone gets a damage boost until then. So I thought it was worth Lilac using one of his extra actions to inflict Speed Down instead of attacking.

What they're referring to are the limited time missions they added for New Years where you can get an Ether Stone for completing a certain number of quests. This includes Battle, Character, and Main Story Quests. You could just replay the 1st quest of the event or any quest that doesn't have a battle hit skip and it still counts as a cleared Quest.

I think some anon did comparisons way back, IIRC it was a human, but i can't recall who exactly. The most popular characters at the time (IE: Pubraseer, Barrel, Ryekie, etc) were actually closer to midrange or non-existent, i think when Obsidius released someone noted he had the largest by a far margin so he would be my uneducated guess.

I'd say they are okay, i run auto so it been like 2-3 turns on average depending on how many Auto skills i use, i just have Pubraseer and S.Barrel spam their AoE, everyone have all three passive skills.

Depends, Stone is great if you use your tickets on stone farming between events (I do), Friendship Bonus is good because it is the only Friendship booster and you basically always get friendship and more friendship= Easier to build up a overflowbank to cap out Huckle/Procy (Or someone better) Sidekick to use those instead of the coin/exp ones, Coin and Exp are kinda pointless if you have a Sidekick with a boosting effect since they are weaker and the effects don't Stack IIRC. Medals are good if you can afford them and actually do the medal quests, but honestly i wouldn't go out of my way to buy themm.

Honestly i tend to go for Stones (cause you need tickets and having a supply to immedietly cap hero you been saving for is great) then Money and use that money to buy the medals and what not i need for upgrades.

I'm assuming that by Stones, you mean the Parallel Quartz that increases stats, right? Cause the elemental Awakening Stones also drop from money quests.
I think I'll start doing that as well. That way I only have to get the Friendship and Quartz boosters instead of a bunch of different kinds.

I miiight hold off on Auto passives for now though. I haven't minded playing manually so far and I could use the slots for more drop boosts. It should also be a simple thing to fix if I ever change my mind.

I don't know how long you've been playing but in most cases go with what you have the least of. Eventually you'll have enough recourses that it won't really matter. But for me personally I use my Daily Tickets on the Parallel Quartz quests since you need 1300 of it to max a Hero's Weapon Level.

Are you referring to her Hero or Sidekick version? Because to me it sounds like you're talking about her Hero version which doesn't not affect her Sidekick Passive of increasing Coins. You would need to max her Sidekick's level cap and then increase her Relation Level with a Hero to Level 100 so her Equipment Skill will have it's max effect. Sorry if I misunderstood what you were referring to and explained stuff you already knew.

I meant to post this earlier so you probably already figured it out but just in case it's a high difficulty fight against the characters from the Christmas event. Heroes from the events get bonuses. Christmas Giansar's debuffs last an extra turn for example. While the Sidekicks give Heroes they are assigned to extra HP, Attack, and take 250 less damage. You get 30 Parallel Quartz as a clear reward so you aren't missing much if you can't clear it.

What is everyone's favorite event battle theme and item shop/menu theme? Both don't have to be from the same event.

Looks like I was wrong on us getting another rerun I wasn’t expecting information this early either. The ability to get older characters is good for newer players even if it’s just adding Hisaki and reXer if I’m not mistaken. Since Pubraseer is available through the beginner missions and Shidemasu should be available again this year since Jailbreak! Health Check Crisis! should be getting a rerun.


As for the event they do mention that you’ll get more enjoyment if you have read Lost Ancients of Blue which makes sense considering Gaius will be getting an alt. The ingredient/food hunter should be Yuhang. But I can’t place who the grave keeper is off the top of my head so maybe it’s Vraham since his silhouette is used for the Valentines campaign banner image. Or maybe it’s a different new character all together and Vraham will show up in the event as an NPC like Gaisei or Denebora. If I'm right about this then it will be another skip for me.

By clearing the missions that are updated every week, you can get special items "Star Shard"

Character engraving level upgrade items that were available in past event exchanges

There is a weekly limit of 1000 Star Shards you can obtain but you don't have to do all missions to get 1000. However you can only hold 4000 Star Shards at a time so be sure to use them on something.

The weekly mission contents and weekly Star Shard acquisition limit reset every Monday at 00:00 (Japan time).

Epilogue Quest",Challenge Quest" will be available to play. In addition, if you clear the main quests or challenge quests that you have not cleared at the time of the event, you will be able to obtain event items for each event as an initial reward.

In order to play the epilogue quest of an archived event, you must have either the "Hero" or "Sidekick" character that corresponds to the quest, and have cleared the final episode of the event scenario. In addition, if you want to play the epilogue quest of an archived event for the first time, you must meet the above conditions and "Memory Archive" to unlock the quest.

Now these are some funky new units, Vlaham's bullet mechanic makes you think about what his teamates are, Valoray has introduced a debuff version of a taunt, along with being a defensive buffer, and this Gaius alt actually cares about where you place him in the stack. He wants to be in the two middle spots otherwise his passive and skill 2 only gives Sword Dance to one ally. Really fun mechanics here.

Can't even boot up the game after the update. Hope it's not the encoding issue housamo had. I trusted you lah, I thought you were built different.

They sure are making unique characters every event. Vlaham being a Enmity attacker with secondary effects is nice even if going for Assault Shot will probably be his go to. But for everyone who got spooked by Alend they can have a solid combo since he is Enmity support with his passive alone. Up to 50% ATK boost closer to 1 HP everyone is paired with Vlaham's Critical can be very strong if you can pull it off.

Gaius is the second Hero with a Field Effect increasing all allies ATK by 30% and follow up attacks are nice but I will say I'm not too certain how you can increase Sword Dance stacks to the max I haven't tested it out yet.

Valoray is like Alend as they both can inflict Inducement but he's meant to an HP sponge as he has the 5th highest HP of defense Heroes only 105 below Sadayoshi. But he has more support than other defense Heroes plus his skills are pretty cheap too pretty nice for a 4star.

Is there a good quick way to tell which unit gives Vlaham which bullet type without being able to read Japanese (And being too lazy to pull out the translator for checking everything). Never really had to pay attention to something like this if there is icons or something somewhere but Sexo Goat is so much fun to use I actually do want to engage with his mechanics more.

I mean, it depends on the target's role, right? As long as you remember which role the units in your team have, you'll know the bullet effect is related to that. Quickest way to check that without translating would probably be this:

Or you could also use the numbers on the skill's description when you're hovering it above someone. So you could tell the effects just at a glance like:
No number = Vlaham: Damages adjacent enemies
1.5 = Attack role: Increases damage by 1.5x
5000 = VP Gain role: Gain 5000 VP
3 = Assist/Debuff roles: Inflicts 3 charges of Scar
30 = Speed role: Attack again, dealing 30% damage
50 = Defense/Heal/Special: Heal self by 50% of base ATK

There is a bullet gauge above Vlaham's HP bar and each Bullet has it's own color. Granted you still would need to know what Role each Hero you are using has when using his second skill so you can know what bullet effects will trigger when you use his third skill.

If he uses it on himself he gets Spread Shot which is represented by a white bullet and when he uses his third skill he’ll attack adjacent enemies beside the primary target.

Attack Heroes give him Assault Shot which is represented by red bullet and it increases his damage by 1.5x

VP Gain Heroes give him Radiant Shot which is represented by a yellow bullet and will grant 5000 extra View Power.

Assistance or Debuff Heroes will give him Slicing Shot which is represented by a blue bullet. It will inflict three stacks of Scar.

Speed characters give him Double Shot which is represented by a purple bullet and it allows him to attack again dealing 30% of his attack as damage.

Defense Healing or Special Heroes will give him Healing Shot which is represented by a green bullet and it will heal himself by 50% of his base attack value.

Also in case you didn't know Vlaham can have up to three Bullets at once and will use all of them when he uses his third Skill. But I don't know if each Bullet effect can stack like having three Slicing Shots will inflict nine stacks of Scar instead of three.

I was curious and decided to see if Bullet effects stack and it seems that they all do except for Slicing Shot. Regardless if you have 1 or 3 Slicing Shot Bullets the number of Scar stacks will always be 5.

I also did a test with the Bullet combo of Slicing Shot, Spread Shot, and Double Shot thinking it would hit all enemies twice and give them Scar but it did not work. Only the primary target got Scar and got hit with the extra attack from Double Shot also Double Shot did not add an extra stack of Scar again it was at 5 stacks. I'm disappointed that it didn't work like I was hoping. Maybe other combinations might work but that one certainly didn't.

Never uninstall LWs games without backing up your user/auth key or issuing a transfer code. You'll lose your progress otherwise.
When that happens to me I close and reopen my emulator and usually it works after waiting a while. If you're on a real phone then restarting it would be the equivalent.

I haven't had any issues lately but in the past if my internet/data was too slow the game didn't like that. But as the other two said I wouldn't uninstall the game it's a risk if you don't have your keys. Honestly I'm surprised the games don't have any issues when transferring stuff to a new phone. Even though it always gives me a heart attack the few times I had to do it.

Where the little running Akashi doesn't even show up? It kinda looks like it's a crash to me though I have no idea what exactly would cause it. If all else fails then maybe try running the game on another device or emulator if you can.

Yeah it looks like a crash to me as well, the little Akashi does not show up on boot. So it doesn't seem to get that far in the start up process. The game crashed during a download of the story update, so maybe that caused it? I am in no spot to try out other devices, can next week though.

Oh I've had that since last anniversary, it's a bit weird. It usually happens whenever there's a patch so I figure it autocloses after to apply the update but sometimes it will just close out on me for no reason when I boot it up. It's weird. It doesn't seem to affect my account though so fingers crossed it stays that way. But yeah keep your authkey handy.

If you're on Android you should be able to grab it with a file manager. I think newer versions don't give you full folder access so you might need to install something like Total Commander for it.

You want the "userKey" file found on this path: Android/data/jp.co.lifewonders.liveahero/files/datas/
When transferring it over you just gotta paste it in the same folder after installing the game.

I find it real crazy how fragile both games' saves are with how greedy their gacha are

Thanks, I think the plan is, once I get home to my computer, I'll download bluestacks and LaH onto there, try transfering the userkey, and check if my account is safe. Then I'll try and fix it on my phone. But the userkey is safe, made a back up of it.

BlueStacks is what I'd recommend since it's the one I found most stable once you set it up, but there's a few annoyances with it that you should be aware of beforehand even if you don't plan on using it for too long.

First, the Nougat 64-bit version is the only one that doesn't consistently get stuck when loading LAH. You can also use their instance manager for this if you get another version.

Secondly, it comes bundled with some stuff like BlueStacks X and BlueStacks Services that's bloatware you should uninstall. They get reinstalled after every update but thankfully those aren't automatic.

And finally, you should go into Settings>Preferences and disable "Ads during gameplay" and "Open BlueStacks Store on start."

Been trying out your advice, so far it somewhat works. Main issue is that it gets stuck downloading the game for some reason. But I have managed to save my userkey so that's my backup and that's the most important part. What I'm mainlly bummed about is that I may not be able to get the goat.

Don't forget that Unexplored Exploration will reset in three weeks. The reset will most likely increase the permanent cumulative score rewards as well as refresh the limited time cumulative score rewards. So if you haven't already try to get a cumulative score of at least 7000 before the reset to get up to 5 Ether Stones!

Also the current Challenge Simulator has a week left! And if you get a score of at least 50,000 on any of the quests you'll clear a Star Shard mission earning 200 Star Shards for the week.
