How come she can use tail glow if he doesn't have a tail?
>>
Same reason Diglett can use Aerial Ace.
>>
>>55770453
She uses her twin tails
>>
>JP name: Firefly Light
Bad english fanfic translation as usual
>>

The tails on her head silly
>>
Better question is why Phione can't? It's too late for me to care about it now honestly, but it feels like Tail Glow Phione would've been fun to use in gen 6 NU or something.

Doesn't matter, it's clear the name is just child-friendly shorthand for bioluminescence. Nearly every kid knows what a firefly is and that it glows from within, they're probably not gonna know the scientific term until they're a bit older and it's long so it might not fit the character limit in some languages.

In British English, it's "Princess of the Sea" in American English.

Also, what is up with TPC making feminine mons and going "Yeah, this is mon looks like a boy" then once the Pokémon is shown to the public everyone else goes "What a cute girlmon" and TPV gets surpised that the rest of the world doesn't see their feminine mon as a boy like them.
For example, Gardevoir is called Sirknight in Japan and was supposed be looked at as an masculine elf knight, but the world sees it as a feminine elf princess which ended up forcing TPC to redo the mon by adding a split evolution that actually looks like a masculine elf knight, they even stop trying to portray Gardevoir as a boy and accepted that Gardevoir will be treated as 100% female in their medias.

Honestly, almost every Mythical looks feminine similar to how almost every Legendary looks masculine, they can keep trying to call Manapy "prince" but to everyone else it's a girl especially how it can lay eggs.

This, but for Arceus. No one wants to accept she canonically birthed everything from her Llama pussy.

Manaphy's two ponytail-like antennas probably have something to do with it.
>>
>>55770478
Firefly has the meaning of fluorescence in nipponese. The translation is still trash.

We shall make this a Manaphy thread!
