>>55779335The only optimization I can think of is that they have another showcase where some if not all of the spots are for Pokémon that can only evolve during the day or night (this was the case for Lycanroc showcases back in January) and it's the last day of the showcase where you either don't want to be bothered to come back to submit an XXL mon that can only evolve at night, or you encountered it at night with only hours before the showcase ends and you can't evolve it unless it's daytime (I guess this could also apply for night evolutions too if the sun doesn't set in your area until after 8pm).Either way, it's a pretty unlikely situation.
Is it just me or does it seem like gym competition is decreasing? There are a few high traffic area gyms I hit on my commute, that a few months ago would turnover not long after the 8 hour mark. Now I’m going 2-3 days before someone bothers to do it, and when I go to kick them out it’s clear they were just a random passerby because they have the only pokemon in the gym. What happened?

Me and some friends recently figured out how to do the lobby trick against his first in line Blissey and now he's mad af, traveling across the city (He uses cheats but isn't a spoofer, someone explain why?) and then tries to take back every single gym we retake. We've made a game out of this like rl Starcraft where I get on a bike and chip away at his gyms while someone else berries. We don't even need the coins; he basically comes over to knock out our gyms for the day. Bloody insanity. The funniest part tonight was another group of yellows with six accounts sniped a gym away from him and filled it and started berrying it themselves. I am very entertained by this. I'd pay 50 coins every night to do this but we do it for free lol
