>One is made incredibly non-standard, gets unique backstory based around it being unloved in canon, intended to be a dark shadow of Pikachu
>Ends up being massively beloved by fans
>The other is made the standard way, has no real backstory, intended to be some beloved rodent pokemon
>Is massively forgotten and nobody cares about it in real life, and completely obscured by the other's shadow
Isn't it funny that Mimikyu became super popular and Togedemaru became pretty much exactly what Mimikyu was?
