A lot of TCG art is slice-of-life-y.
>>55945462where does she get the milk
>>55951467judging by the pacifier on one of the other ones, it's evident to assume that this kangashkan and her babies are raised by a trainer, so they probably gave her the bottle and stuff, and probably also provide the milk, probably from miltank, judging from the pokedex entries.
>you will never come home to a Pokemon that understands you and is there for you unconditionally:(
Would this count?https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bQ-adhFTHfI
>>55957718People in the Pokemon world probably feel the same way about our pets in real life. Imagine having a pet that has no risk of possibly burning or flooding or deleting your house from existence. Eevee's probably the best closest thing, but it could evolve at any second just by being in the presence of a magic rock and then accidentally burn or flood your house.
>>55948155Those are always my favorite artworks. They make me want to start collecting some of them.
>>55951399That would make a kickass 8th gym
>>55945319If they cared about the franchise more than to sell to retards the games would look like daily life art. That's why PMD is the only soulful branch left.
>>55966685Based!
>>55964497People seem to keep Pokemon as pets in both the games and anime and it works out fine without homes burning down or getting flooded. The risk of a well trained Pokemon that lives its life as a pet causing damage would likely be very low.
>>55945479God I love Breloom. Such a great little fella to have on the team.
>>55945319Bump
>>55974321What a peaceful place...
>>55971152Oh wow this art style is fantastic. The colors really pop.
No joke, riding in Briney's boat was one of my favorite parts of rse. currently saving up for a center console boat and gonna name it Peeko and island hop the coast of my state.
>>55945319There was an anon in the other thread who asked for Meteor Falls art. This is the best I could find, and there wasn't much. Seems Meteor Falls isn't that popular...

My favorite kinds of Pokemon pics
>>56019380I just took that screenshot from this video. He doesn't stay like that very long.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t3YC0mdzH_U

>>56024449This art style has a very comfy storybook-feel to it that I really like.
>>56019716Same. They capture the comfiness and sense of adventure in ways the games will never be able to.
>>55965866I like the idea but they just shat too many pokemon all over it. Why bother going to the safari zone when the local mart has the entire dex just running round in there.
>>56027837We could all learn a thing or two from Slowpoke. Take time to appreciate life's many wonders and beauty!
>>56030597And then she and her pet got pecked to death by the asshole birds.
Will there ever be a Pokémon game that makes us feel like this again? It's been so long.
The closest that comes to mind is that cafe game on phones.
>>56030902Meant for >>56030856
>>56030856Unless GF or some studio that GF partners with decides to harken back to the days of the late 90s/early 2000s... it's unlikely, imo. Not entirely impossible though.
>>56030856It's up to fans now. Sequelitis infects everything that is propped up alive like a zombie puppet beyond it's expiration date. For me, Pokemon means a mostly familiar setting and society, except the animals are different and more fantastical. The retro-futuristic technology was part of the appeal for me, too. Cloning and genetic manipulation, time machines, unique technology like item finder pokedex pokegear technical machines etc, riding a boat or a train, radio, pokegear cellphone. They should have kept Pokegear in every game afterward as a staple, just with new programs for it. Poketch is literally just a pokegear 2.0. And then they even scrapped that. Remember berries? Remember seasons? Remember daily events and day/night differences? Music differences based on time of day. etc. Mail attached to Pokemon. Pokeball seals. Depositing the 100 items you never use. Game Freak doesn't care. It's up to the fans.Ruby and Sapphire world ending legendary monster: Okay cool. 20 years later with dozens of godzilla "legends": Not compelling or interesting anymore. At least they tried new ideas with Legends: Arceus; even Mystery Dungeon, Snap, Conquest, etc.
>>56030766Hey now, what makes you think those birds are assholes??
>>56034415All birds are assholes by default
>>56034575So are marine animals. Seabirds are the worst of both worlds.
>>56034575>>56035983SLANDER, I SAY, SLANDER!
>>56037169NiceJust started a new game and have Beedrill in the party
>>56038506Are you planning on keeping Beedrill in your party for the rest of your journey?
>>56039482I'm up to the place with Safari Zone and I've still got it, so I'd say yes.
>>56039681Cool. What moves does your Beedrill know?
I'm glad this thread is still alive
>>56035983Did you get attacked by a seabird at some point anon
>>56041195Poison StingTwineedlePursuitFury AttackLevel 36Other than twineedle, eveything else needs to be upgraded with TM's since it doesn't learn anything remotely useful afterwards. Moveset is one of its biggest drawbacks,
>>56024479how does not even a drop get spilled
>>56005964preposterous
>>56042962Yeah I can see how that move set could get you through early game just fine, but late game would be a struggle for your Beedrill to say the least. Oh well, thank goodness for TMs! Have you given thought to what TMs your gonna use on it?
>>56033687Do you know any comfy hack rom, anon?
