>>56099054Psychic was supposed to be a rare and powerful type like Dragon. As of gen 6 they were nerfed equally with Dark and Fairy as the main counters and Steel resisting both. Problem is Psychic isn't nearly as impressive as Dragon on the offensive side so the nerfs weren't balanced out. Psychic is also weak to arguably the best move with good distribution, UTurn. Then there's the fact Dark and Ghost continue to get stronger every generation and are probably the strongest offensive types nowadays.
