I think that it was a good way to give weaker and unpopular Pokemon a time in the spotlight, but fell victim to popularity bias just making the strong even stronger.What does /vp/ think? What would you want to see done differently if it returned?

Megas returning will just mean more of the same bullshit where CHARIZARD get 8 new gimmicks while the Johto starters get fuck all assuming they doint get erased again. The only "good" choice would be for megas to never come back but its a forgone conclusion. Or course Game Freak could just buff Pokemon directly without attaching to some gimmick, but they rarely ever do that and the vast majority of the time its just +10 SpD or some other pussyshit, or they actually give it something but its far to little far too late.
