Excellent party member. I unironically want to rank Crystal under GS and HGSS sometimes purely because it drops Mareep, it just throws the whole game out of wack. Like I'm looking through movesets right now and so many Gen 2 Electric types were begging for a Thunderbolt TM, it's crazy. Might as well just teach Thunder Punch to a Kadabra and be done with it.

I was a little hesitant with putting Wobbuffet in the Gym 4-7 range. I guess it could even be called pre-Gym 5 since you don't need to battle Chuck or Janine to do the Team Rocket stuff, you only really need Surf to fight the Red Gyarados. But looking at the GS map for Dark Cave, it looks like you can reach a tiny section of the room with Wobbuffet as long as you have Rock Smash, Surf, and Strength.
