You’re making a fictional Pokémon world, not retelling the history of the United Kingdom. Too much verity opens the door for stupid shit like needing there to be Scotts and Irish and the Irish being at civil war with each other and the northern ones being brutal and violent and you see how it gets to be too much? Stonehenge, King Arthur, foggy Dickensian cities, and guys that look like picrel. That’s as deep as it should get. Otherwise it’s just gonna become another worthless platform for “representation”. Wouldn’t surprise me if gen 10 was based on Palestine at this rate.
