>>56221178That's actually very easy to do too. Get rid of all grass, having 0 encounters in caves and water should be possible. There are plenty of overworld sprites and battles wouldn't need to be changed. The routing for the player could get predictable though. Or make it a puzzle game where you need certain catches to proceed. Or wild encounters are static but battles are randomized.

Add pokemon sprites, make them move, trigger a battle when talked to.. but can you make new ones spawn automatically?
