My area was previously casual with easy daily 50 coins with gyms filled with shitmons or themes and people essentially trading control for good coin flow. The more remote gyms went days without being attacked. The town try hard decided that was no good and decided overnight that every gym needs a blissey, chansey, ect. Gyms will be retaken within the hour and sometimes instantly at all hours of the day unless it is the one specific player who gets conveniently ignored for eight hours for no reason.
