dinosaurs are still cool, T-rex is just like the beginner answer for favorite dinosaur. The equivalent of saying Eevee or Charizard is your favorite Pokemon.
If you keep delving into it, there's some cool stuff still to be found. My personal favorite is the Gigantoraptor

I've always thought Tyrantrum's neck and belly were too fat. It looks too much like Barney the dinosaur to be as appealing in the same way a normal T-Rex depiction is. Its stance needs to be more horizonal to look like it can run.

Tyrantrum is a badass pokemon but I just keep forgetting it exists.

Whenever I see those thick egg-laying hips & tail in action. I get horny for big, feral, muscular, scalie queens. Her massive, beautiful and powerful body could kill me easily. I like to imagine her privileging me with the chance to pleasure her.

We already had tons of fantastical dinosaur looking Pokemon so of course no one cares about the awkward boring t rex. Not saying it's horrible but it's just not doing anything. It looks like a more boring random Bakugan. It just exists.

Kalos had the most iconic dinosaurs.
Most other fossil Pokemon can't revive until late game. Or they're just not good in a playthrough, like Cradily or Bastiodon.

Ankylosaurus is the coolest one. Just fucking tank with a giant mace on his tail.
The closest we got in Pokemon is Torterra but desu it's not it. Torterra is still more of a tortoise trying to pass as Ankylosaurus with it's bodyshape.

Doesn't help that ROM hacks that supposedly buff weak Pokémon usually NEVER alter the stats and typings for fossil Pokémon.
Looking at (You), Radical Red, with Tyrantrum still being fucked by special moves and Aurorus still being fucked by its stats and typing.
Legitimately pisses me off that fossil Pokémon usually go on touched in these ROM hacks especially considering how much complaints there are like Aurorus's typing and Archeops having Defeatist.
Also no Rock type biting moves or no new special Rock type moves in Radical Red either? What the fuck is this shit? At least Meteor Beam has 100% accuracy in it and Diamond Storm is special so Game Freak can get fucked on that.

Meteor Beam isn't 100% accurate... the only Rock moves with more than 70BP and 100% accuracy naturally are Rock Type Weather Ball, Diamond Storm, and Ivy Cudgel when used by Cornerstone Mask Ogerpon

GameFreak's insistence on hampering the pre-gen 8 Fossils with part Rock typing really fucked over Tyrantrum and Aurorus... This is one of those cases where I really wish GF's battle planners would explain their design choices sometimes, because out of all the fossils, I don't know what the plan was with these two

And let's not forget the brazen gatekeeping of Power Gem and how Aurorus couldn't have Aurora Veil in Gen 7.

It's morally correct to hack Power Gem into Aurorus's moveset if you're using one in a playthrough. Fuck Game Freak, fossil Pokémon deserve better and Aurorus is owed an apology.
