I'm pretty sure Pokemon Mystery Dungeon was inspired by the Mystery Dungeon series and not a game that came out whole Pokemon Mysterious Dungeon was in development, but ok.

Mystery Dungeon is a Dragon Quest spinoff from 1993, before Pokémon existed. Chunsoft, the creators of Mystery Dungeon (including Pokémon Mystery Dungeon), are the original developers of the early Dragon Quest games. Game Freak's Pokémon series was inspired by Chunsoft's Dragon Quest games.
And no one ever said thank you to Chunsoft.

playing dq1 and seeing stuff like escape rope and poison status being 1:1 like gen 1 pokemon was pretty funny

>>
>>56462511
Um, what? Mystery Dungeon is a separate series. It's called Pokemon Mystery Dungeon because it's a Pokemon x Mystery Dungeon game

Ah yes, Hoenn, the inventor of Shiren the Wanderer.

Kek and retards here will still deny Pokemon having heavy DQ connections.
