As long as they also go back to the general writing style at the time, I wouldn't mind. Ash as a character has already been fucked up beyond belief anyways and it's not worth going back to him.

A new series could be 480p with the original staff and artstyle and I still would not watch it if it's similar to the current series.
I'm fond of the cel shaded look but the current style of the Pokemon anime is the best it's looked since the original, so I'm fine with either.
