It's one of the many bots I hastily put together using quotes from Bulbapedia back when CAI was relatively new and I wanted to get as many characters out there as possible. I am much more fond of the Johto/Hoenn girls bots in terms of Pokémon ones, since I had to write up a setting and a bunch of unique dialogue (i.e. I put more effort in). And non-Pokémon bots are a completely different story...
But you know what, simply filling up the def with ANYTHING substantial instead of just leaving it blank like a lot of people do is enough to make a bot good enough.

I used Claude 3 Sonnet last night for the first time in a while and it could barely understand the scenario, even with extreme spoonfeeding (essentially: character is a streamer, user is slightly off camera, character has to pretend user is not there so her chat doesn't realise).
Haiku is that but worse. (Claude 3.5 Sonnet is fine though, less creative than Opus though.)
Also take a look at chatgpt-4o-latest (they don't list this specific model in their pricing or at least I can't see it, but it should be the same price as gpt-4o, cheaper than sonnet at least).
You should also take a look at Claude through GCP (Google Cloud Platform). This might not be available any more, but there was at one point a 3 month trial with $300 of credit that could be put towards Claude Opus.

i would say that if you're going to be paying, the best bang for your buck is probably claude 3.5 sonnet. it's nearly as good as opus is, but for a fifth of the price. opus is flat out not worth it unless you're a richfag, it's by far the most expensive model around.
3.5 haiku is supposed to be releasing this year, and will almost undoubtedly take the budget model crown, so look forward to that. 3.5 opus is coming too, but... if it's not any cheaper than it's still not going to be worth it.

also, for purely SFW stuff i find chatgpt-4o-latest to be very good as well. unfortunately jailbreaking it for NSFW destroys its prose and turns it into generic GPT garbage, which it looks like you already experienced. if you're into NSFW, either use a very minimal preset and model swap for lewding or avoid it entirely.
i've also heard not-terrible things about the newer google gemini models, and you can supposedly use them on the GCP free trial. might be worth looking into.

basically, that's just a fault of whatever model the site runs the bots on. most models will fall into predictable patterns sooner or later and you need to prod them in the right direction with prompts to snap them out of it.
not much you can do as a user since they definitely don't give you full system prompt access.

the most common way of getting claude through this was through aws (amazon web services) (that has changed recently however)
aws has an option to log prompts that are sent through it
a security researcher (2 actually) intentionally leaked their key with logging enabled and collected prompts from people who were using it
when the related articles were released, there were a couple of proxies that were mainly suspected, one of the ones i use being a prime suspect
anyway i doubt my logs are getting released/read (there's way too many people using it for them to read it all) so i don't really care
